Jen has settled into a peaceful life when a terrifying event awakens old fears of being homeless and alone, of a danger horrible enough to destroy her family and shatter her world forever. She is certain that Naryfel, a shadowy figure from her past, has returned and is concentrating the full force of her hate on Jen's family. But how will she strike? A knife in the dark? From the Author

Dear Readers,

When people ask me to describe Wyndano's Cloak in one word, I answer, "Empowerment."

When they ask me to describe it in five words, I say, "Magic too dangerous to use."

When they say, "Ooh! Tell me more," I reply, "A sinister shapeshifter threatens to shatter Jen's world and the kingdom of Aerdem. She has one chance to stop them--with a magical cloak too dangerous to use. If you love page-turners with secrets, riddles, mystery, treachery, and intrigue, then you'll enjoy Wyndano's Cloak."

Tell us more, they say! I answer: "Prepare for a bone-thrilling ride in a land of fantasy, enchantment, and adventure. Where betrayal vies with loyalty, friendship, and courage. And hope lies with the unlikeliest heroes and heroines."

Pull up a chair, throw another log on the fire, have a sip of tea, and curl up with a good book. The possibilities are endless, and fairy-tale magic lies ahead . . .

Best Wishes,

A. R. Silverberry

5.0 out of 5 stars You'll want to still hang out with these characters after you read this delicious story., February 3, 2012
This review is from: Wyndano's Cloak (Hardcover)
This book was such a fantastic read. I was impressed by the fluidity of A.R. Silveryberry's voice and this made it a joy to read. It also made it hard to put down! My favorite character was Blue. He was so mysterious and I was just itching to find out more about him. I'm so glad I got to thoroughly know Jen, Bit, Pet(unia), and Blue. And their growing pains are so easy to relate to, and ongoing! I can't wait to read a follow-up story!

This review is from: Wyndano's Cloak (Hardcover)
"Wyndano's Cloak" is a story set at the intersection of fantasy and reality. The journey begins in the fantasy kingdom of Aerdem, an imaginary world well-realized by author A.R. Silverberry. Jen, our heroine, is faced with the all too real task of delivering a message of danger that no one else believes. When her worst fears materialize, she has to call on her inner resources of strength and courage, and conquer her fears to save her family and the kingdom she loves. Her quest takes her in and out of the magical kingdom, at times placing her in an almost-Dickensian version of reality. Her family is powerless to help. Her companions may betray her. Danger lurks around every terrifying corner. Yet Jen never loses faith or heart. Nor will the reader, as you pursue this adventure to it's intriguing end.
