Yes. That is a naked woman on the cover of the book. And she is lying in the middle of a forest, just like several other women in this collection of photographs.
But I gotta tell ya, Wynn Bullock is a master at creating emotion in landscapes of nothing like no one's business. Google "Sea Palms" or "The Bird" just to get an idea of the creativity of this photographic genius. Photo paper is good. Good representation. One of the more underrated photographers of the last century.

This is a rich collection of Bullock's photographs that gives a very strong flavour of his work. Some of these images are truly haunting. The essay is informative and mostly well written. A valuable addition to the bookshelf.
