5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining Book
I really enjoyed WED IN WYOMING. It was great to enjoy more of the saga, especially with the next generation of the Clay clan. Allison Leigh has a great saga going on.

I've read an half dozen of this author to date, and so far, she hits half the time for me. This was NOT one of those times.

I've read an half dozen of this author to date, and so far, she hits half the time for me. This was NOT one of those times.

I really liked Angel as the sister of the heroine in A Weaver Baby, which is why I chose this as my next Leigh, despite the plot description. (I am not a fan of the cloak and dagger scenario.) However, I just couldn't connect with her in this story. I didn't think the hero really had much to offer, either. I found his constant use of nick names in the first quarter of the book not just obnoxious, but distracting. I am not even sure what the author was trying to convey with that. I thought the rescue, flight and relationship was enough conflict for one story. So, the added bits about the patient she recently lost (she's a paramedic) and his family circumstances crowded and muddied the story. I don't understand the point of the Prologue, and the Epilogue was evidently more for fans of the previous books.

SPOLER ALERT: Worse of all is the fact that they both lost their birth families, years and continents apart, not just to violence but to the same offender. And this is just a kind of oh-by-the-way, at the end of the book. Words escape me.

I slogged through this.

I cannot recommend this, but I loved Leigh's books A Weaver Baby (as mentioned above) and the Mother in a Moment / Millionaire's Instant Baby duology. I will certainly be reading more by this author.
