I SHOULD NEVER PICK UP A DESIRE BOOK,
By
This review is from: Wyoming Wedding (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
I couldn't get into this book. Honestly, I bought it only because of the title. I had recently returned from an amazing trip to, Wyoming. I usually try to stay away from the Desire, books. They usually are all about the sex with not much of a storyline.
I felt that the characters were shallow, and unbelievable. There was no deep POV, so no real connection was made with any of the characters. I muddled through until page 140 because I'm in the reading program through my library, and though I only had another 40 pages to go, just couldn't bring myself to finish it. This was the first book I've read by this author, so who knows, this just may have not been one of her better writes.

The whole concept of the story was strange. The heroine starts out as a confident, independent women. By chapter 3 that is gone and she spends the rest of the story trying to make him happy. He tells her to quit school, becasue he needs her by his side. I understand this is fiction, that is taking the alpha male role a bit to far. She loses herself in him and becomes wallpaper (flat and only there for decoration). To top the whole thing off, he informs her she needed to quit law school. In fact the whole story mentions that. However in the middle of the story she realizes she is only one semester behind from getting her undergrad. Last time I checked you had to have your undergrad before you wen tot law school. The story is awful the characters are terrible and I wish I would have believed the previous review.
