This was a very good Idea, it was the first way to play your game system over the internet. Unfortunately, it didn't let you play Sonic or Starfox(I know it's not a Genesis game!)over the internet with voice communication to your friends. To my knoledge, it only let you play (I guess) fighting and sports games. Also, the X-Band service was cancled some time ago. If anyone finds a way to get the X-Band to work again, leave a review.
