Last night I attended a reading at Books Inc. for this book. It was a real treat to hear four of the authors read their stories out loud. I could feel the energy in the air as the sexual tension built with each reading. :)
I enjoyed this book immensely. Not only is it a gorgeous, luxurious book that would make a beautiful Valentine's, birthday or Christmas gift, but the content inside is rich, too. The stories feature a range of sexual situations from lesbian shoe worship, hot anonymous alley hook-ups, sex with a murderer on the run, to ritual spanking and circus love. While some of these scenarios may not be my particular fantasy, all are well-written, compelling and hot.

This would make a superb gift for both the erotica newbie and the person with a shelf full of sexy paperbacks who might enjoy a special treat.

Worth the price just for the feel of it -- gorgeously made, with its own classy deep red slipcover, definitely a keeper for the shelves. And just when you think there's nothing new and interesting happening in erotica, here's a great collection of 40 stories by the best authors around. Some funny, some hardcore, some softer, but all of them written in great style. I think I'll read this to my lover, one exquisite story at a time!

This anthology is unusual for several reasons:

1. It's a beautiful gift book, its cover decorated in a deep, shiny, rich, red pattern that looks almost like brocade, inserted into a fancy, equally decorative, cardboard holder with an "X" cut out.

2. The stories are really well-written. Most erotica just plops the reader into a sex scene, but most of these stories actually have plot development and character nuance.

3. This anthology runs the gamut of sexual preferences and turn-ons. Whether or not a particular story or sex act turns you on personally, it's a rich collection of what rings people's chimes.

Author Better Than I Ever Expected: Straight Talk About Sex After Sixty

The reigning Queen of erotica, Susie Bright, has done it again.
This time our favorite erotic stories are intermixed with some wonderful new stories and packaged in a two book volume with one of the most BEAUTIFUL covers I have ever seen! This would be a perfect gift for Christmas or Valentines day, but I am ordering mine today!

Are the stories here any good? Maybe. I don't have any idea becuase I have the audiobook version. Each story is read by a different reader, each with a voice more grating and irritating than the last. You know those people with annoying, grating, whiny, exaggeratedly-excited voices you hear in radio ads for car insurance companies? Well, picture them getting together with your heavily-smoking great aunt to read some sexy, sexy stories, and you're approaching what listening to this collection is like. The voices are so distracting that I couldn't enjoy the stories at ALL. I gave up after the first half.

This book is fantastic. It is going to be fun reading this out loud with my significant other.

This book offers a great mix of different stories and caters for a wide variety of tastes. The stories are well-written and a pleasure to read in every sense of the word. Whether you're alone or together with someone special to share this book with, you're sure to have a great time.
The book cover adds to the sense of the unusual and its intriguing feel will enhance the experience.

I can"t say much about this book I bought it for a gift the person I bought it for has not said anything bad about it shipped & rec om time.

I bought this book along with some other erotica, as a way of revitalizing my sex drive while struggling with sexual dysfunction. Since I have vulvodynia, sex has always been painful for me and the idea is very scary. Since I love to read, books seemed like a natural and safe way to inspire desire. For my purposes I found the book to be way too kinky. I was looking for safer and gentler sex scenes and have no interest in bondage at all. If you are looking for wild scenarios to expand your sexual fantasies, then this might work for you.

So many books promise. This one delivers. Thank You Susie Bright I can always trust you.
