I thought this book was more informative on David's movies than THE actual David Duchovny. I love The X-Files and David Duchovny but wouldn't say that this was informative enough on the David I want to know about. I wanted to know what he is like, what kinds of things he likes and this book only told me about his movies. Even though, it was informative on the good and bad movies of Mr.Du, I think the author could have done better. I wanted to know the real David.

I just loved this book! There's so much imformation on him that I'd never of known if I hadn't read this book. Good pictures also!

It is one of the best books I've read. Oh, its everything you want to know about David Duchovny. It gives you his life from when he was child to a wonderful superstar. You'll love this book if you like David Duchovny.!!!!

OK, when I bought the book I knew less about David Duchovny than I know now, but that's mainly because I knew nothing about him at all! This book doesn't tell you all that much - but it probably is a good start, if you're not sure you're really interested in D. D.'s life.

This book was sooo good, I'm not going to give too much away. Let me just say this book goes in depth with his childhood, and explains the man behind the mysterious Agent Fox Mulder. Not too many interviewers ask the right questions, but this book is the answer to all thoughts on your mind. I LOVE David Duchovny, am always eager to learn more, and found this book to be my ultimate resource. If you really want to know everything, take the time to read this book.......

If you are one of the millions of women out there who have fallen in love with the witty charm of David Duchovny, this book is a must have. I'll admit that if you aren't an X-files or a DD fan, this book will be of no interest to you, but if you are, reading it will provide you with everything you'll want to know about the life and times of this Princeton-man- turned-90's-sex-symbol. "The X-factor" is a straightforward and intriguing biography about the man behind Mulder, who, as this novel presents, is just as intelligent, funny, and oh-so-sexy as the character he plays on TV.

Oh dear, Oh dear, is there room on the X-files bandwagon for this latest `unofficial` Hickson biography. In one word `no` actually `no,no,no..please no` would be more appropriate. This book re-hashes for the umpteenth time one of the stars of the X-Files. All the things you never knew (or cared) about `hunky` David Duchovny is all there from excruciatingly boring childhood all the way to the present day, and in reading it seemed a looooong time believe me).Hogwash in its purest form. The truth maybe `out there`but Hickson would not know it if it snatched him away and performed experiments on his private parts
