It's interesting to see where Chris Carter, et al, got their ideas for the X-Files. The multiple 'real life stories' for each subject is interesting as well. My mind is not so open my brain falls out, but I do believe we do not understand everything in our world. I mean, as intelligent and smart as we are, we aren't that smart. We don't have it all figured out, much as we like to think we do. These people in this book honestly believe what happened to them, and who are we to say they are wrong? Is it possible they misinterpreted what they saw, heard, felt, or whatever? Sure. Is it possible what they say happened happened? Sure. I've certainly in my life had stuff happen I cannot easily explain. Doesn't mean necessarily that it was paranormal, but it doesn't mean that there is an easy explanation for it either. It is good though to see the 'truth' behind the episode ideas. It is a very enjoyable book.

The book is a good source of infotmation. The presentation is good, it has fulfill my expectations. I own the complete seasons of the show, and i like the idea of know from where the inspiration has come for a great program. I give the book a very good recomendation, because has the two volumes and is for a good price.

Love This Book!!,
This review is from: X-Files Book of the Unexplained: Volumes 1 and 2 (Paperback)
This is an excellent book for anyone who is a fan of the X-Files and/or the paranormal. Although there are 665 pages of reading I can assure you that once you begin reading it you will finish it quickly because it is so interesting that you won't want to put it down!

Good stuff if you like the weird and unexplained. Has the references for the material at the end of each section, which is also nice if you want to delve deeper.

Love this book, but the chapters are way too short. The multi-volume book is massive, covering a ton of topics, but each one gets only a cursory overview and examination. Wish there was more of it, but this book is great fun and hugely interesting for x-files fans and non-fans alike.
