My hair has been thin on my entire crown since puberty. I don't have any bald spots per say but it is very thin and has been getting gradually thinner. In high school a popular hair style involved highlighting so that hid my problem quite well. I'm now in my late 20s and single so needless to say I didn't have any popular hairstyle options except buzz extremely short. It looks good on me but I'd rather have something else before I eventually cave to the buzz permanently.

So I've started minoxidil to save what I have for a while and on a whim ordered X-Fusion medium brown. This stuff is great with a little practice. First off, if you are like me you can't just gel your hair because it makes the thinning more obvious. So I use either hair spray, hair paste, or hair gel that I comb out/style to break apart the gelled clumps. Once I have the basic shape right and my hair isn't clumped together I apply the X-Fusion. It takes a few tries to figure out what your doing but they mean what they say about not applying to wet hair. You also have to work it just right to not get too much on your scalp because that looks bad. Once you figure out the careful art of angling your head and holding the shaker just right this isn't too bad either. If you screw up bad you can just wash your hair again.

The first days I wore it successfully female co-workers said my hair looked great and asked what had I done, meaning your not going to sneak this past someone who already knows what your hair looks like so don't try. Just be honest. I told most of them I dyed it and found a new hair styling product. If they asked anything else I told them what that product was. I think lying is a form of weakness so I don't but X-Fusion works well enough that you could. Also, Dyeing my hair darker didn't help with coverage in case your wondering but it does help with blending.

Also, don't get too wet. It does wash out if you are caught in a downpour. Probably a bad idea to do any heavy physical activity either.

My hair looks great now. I don't think it will work on bald spots but if you have hair, even if it is thin, it will help out tremendously.

My hair is thinning in the front but this really does a nice job in hiding it. You do have to have at least a little hair of it just looks like you rubbed ashes on your forehead. It pretty much stays where you put it but if you put it to far to the front it tends to get on your forehead. A little water fixes that it you notice. My nails do get the stuff under them if I ever scratch me head. If you want something that does quickly make your hair look thicker this is it. Just don't get it wet, it doesn't stay at all then.

I was very disappointed in the color of this product. I read all the reviews on the colors and ordered the one that looked the closest to my color of hair, but when I got it, it was way too dark. Of course, once you remove the top to see what color it is, you can no longer return it, because it's been opened (but how else could I tell what color it was?). So, now I'm stuck with something I can't use and can't return. Be very careful when selecting your color. I ordered medium brown and it looks black.

My hair has been thinning over the last few years. I color my hair so, when the color starts to grow out, it is even more evident. I have considered hair transplants and have even gone so far as to have an initial appointment with the Bosley folks. Just too expensive for me at this point in my life. My hairdresser recommended this product. I love it. I even bought the "white" one for my mother (who never went the "hair coloring" route). I can no longer see my scalp when I look in the mirror. I also notice that people now look me in the EYE when they're talking to me...their gaze does not drift up to my head. I am sold on this product. You should really give it a try.

I recommend this product to all women (or men) who are beginning to notice that your hair just isn't as thick as it used to be. I'm 45 and for a woman who has always had thick hair until this last year. It's been a little scary. It covers the scalp (just enough to hide) and gives hair some texture. I found that just shake it on and pat it gently, style, and spritz with regular hair spray and your ready to go. The color match was good also. I ordered the Med. Brown and I'm somewhere between a light to medium brunette. It helps me feel like my thinner hair is not so noticeable. Great product!

Let me begin by saying that I have NEVER left a product review for anything, but for this, I felt compelled to. Plain, simple, and to the point: This stuff works great!!!! Don't buy the hairspray, just use your own. Really easy to use, looks natural, and don't blow off in the wind hahaha. I love this stuff, I'm going to be a loyal customer until the rest of my hair falls out and I bic it all off! ( hopefully i still have another 10 years until that happens though!)

Excellent coverage for thinning hair. Not happy with scalp showing thru your hairstyle? This is definitely an option for you.

I saw this product in my salon and my stylist suggested our trying it. She blended two colors medium brown&cinnamon to work with my color. The salon sells this product for $39.95, do I need to say more?

I love ,love,love this product!! I am a 36 yr old woman that suffers from hair thinning,due to diabetes and pcos. This product WORKS!! I was so embarrassed by my hair loss,so when when my hair stylist told me about XFusion,I was hopeful. Now I'm always stocked up on it..one little bottle lasts me around 6 weeks...well,worth the money! No one can tell I have hair loss anymore. Very natural looking, but I would purchase the spray applicator that is separate. Using it without the spray applicator did not work for me. Use the bottle several inches away from the spot your spraying,for a natural look.

This was also shipped to me on time and at a fair price!!

Well I will start out with saying this is the best product I've bought so far. It was easy to use but you do have to work with it to make it go on evenly. If you put it on right it does look natural but sometimes can look a little spotty so you have to work with it. But if your like me its worth the work to give yourself confidence.
