The Estes SpaceShipOne is a 1:30th scale version of the famous Mojave Aerospace Ventures Ansari X PRIZE competition spaceship. Designed by Burt Rutan of Scaled Composites and funded by Paul Allen of Vulcan Inc., this is the first privately funded manned spacecraft to reach outer space. The Estes rocket replicates the unique design and blasts 400 feet into the air using an Estes B or C engine. It is recovered with a colorful, fully assembled parachute. Join the new space revolution and fly an authentic scale replica of the $10 Million winner of the Ansari X PRIZE! Now it's your turn to Race Into Space! Includes complete launch system minor assembly required. Also requires Estes model rocket engines, Estes igniters and plugs, and Estes recovery wadding.
