I am a material research scientist with much time devoted to XRD analysis. This book became my on-desk manual. It combines all essential but compact information necessary for basic and advanced analyses. For students it has several chapters devoted to the basics of X-rays and crystal structures. For more advanced scientists it has reference data and numerous formulas for various factors. The huge value of this book is in the "walk-through" examples given for each described method.

I definitely recommend it.
