Book Description

October 16, 2008
We think of an X-ray as a diagnostic or security tool—but it's much more. As award-winning photographer Nick Veasey shows in this eye-opening collection, X-rays reveal worlds hidden beneath the surface. Veasey, often in collaboration with scientists and medical personnel, uses a variety of specialized equipment to create stunningly ethereal images of everything from tulips to tractors. They'll alter the way you perceive even the most everyday object.

Nick Veasey's book X-Ray is a delightful and stunning offering of a unique perspective on just about everything via X-rays. Highly recommended for photographers and film makers alike, this will broaden your views on subject matter and film. A great book for older children showing a new way to explore the world. Stunning x-ray photographs from the simple to the complex.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for the price October 9, 2011

This was an interesting look into the world of unconventional x rays. However, for some reason it became a little redundant about half way through. I would purchase again though. I am a radiology student and this is a great coffee table book for my study room.
