4.0 out of 5 stars Buck is best, August 28, 2009
This review is from: X-Tract LED, Thermoplastic Handle Multi-Tool, Platinum (Sports)
I love Buck knives. I have about 30 knives, 6 or so are Buck, and the Bucks are my favorites for sturdiness and keeping an edge.
I wanted a utillity knife to replace my Swiss Army "Tinker". Don't get me wrong, the Tinker is a great tool but, for the most part, I only use the screwdrivers and pliers. I also put one of those keychain LED's on it. I saw this knife with just the tools that I needed, and it was a Buck. Can't get no better, right? Well this would be a perfect tool if it were 20% smaller. The sturdiness is there along with all the quality of Buck, but a pocket tool it's not. It does come with a belt pouch, but when I'm working, I have too many things on my belt as it is.
I do plan on carrying this knife while not at work, love it, but dissapointed that I can't just keep it in my pocket.
It's hard buying just the right knife, or any personal equipment, online without actually seeing it first.
