I am an oldie and love classical music playing in the background while working around the house or even reading. I downloaded this and then loaded it into my Kindle DX. It's very calming to here great music while reading.

This X5 sampler is a collection of five Chopin tracks commemorating the 200th anniversary of the composer's birth; it times in at an undistinguished 29:09, but the price tag (or lack thereof) makes up for it somewhat.

The piano sound is a bit clattery. This is least noticeable in the Nocturne and the Andante Spianato of Op. 22. The performances are intelligent and enjoyable, though the Waltz comes across as a bit too calculating and precise.

The most enticing number on the program is the Andante Spianato et Grand Polonaise Brillante, Op. 22. The complete number is included here in decent sound. The performance is competent enough to be enjoyed in its own right.

If you can spare the bandwidth, this is a nice if unessential addition to your Chopin collection.
