I'm surprised on how sturdy and powerful this dryer is. (I didn't expect such great performance from this dryer.) Very light, folds in a snap, wonderful for travel.

The reviewer that mentioned they were unhappy with this dryer, I'm not sure whomever the shipper was if they were selling an authentic product because authentic products do not have typos (maybe that's why there were problems).

My husband and I have been very happy with this dryer and have had this dryer for over a year. Still works great.

I got this travel dryer in July, 2009, and have used it for about 25 days so far, when traveling. I was skeptical about spending this much money, but this is a terrific little hair dryer. It is very lightweight, with a folding handle, and about half the size of a traditional salon dryer. I have shoulder length, straight, fine hair, and must have the air concentrator on the end or my hair will blow everywhere and snarl. Cheapo travel dryers from *Mart had concentrator tips that would fall off once heated. Not the X5! It's permanently attached. Also, the concentrator is the only part of the exterior to get hot, yet the dryer produces a lot of heat for such a tiny machine. Very good noise levels, too. I'm extremely impressed with the design of this dryer, and very pleased with the performance.

This dryer is small, lightweight, easy to use, and dried my hair quickly. I don't know about all that tourmaline ionic ceramic stuff but after using it my hair is shiny, smooth, feels nice, so hey I won't argue. It is dual voltage which should prove handy when I travel. It folds which should make it easier to pack. It has three heat settings, I use it on the highest setting and the temp seems just right, hot enough to do the job without being too hot. I should say that I have fine straight hair just past my shoulders which isn't difficult to dry and it make take longer for someone with thick/course hair than a full size dryer. But as a travel dryer it is perfect -a much better option than relying on hotel dryers which are usually a joke or lugging around a full size dryer. It is a little bit louder than the Sedu travel dryer I have, but the Sedu isn't dual voltage which limits it's travel usage and so it is an acceptable trade off to me.

This is a nice ligfhtweight hair dryer. The air flow is slightly less than 1875 watt comparable ones but it dries the hair quicker because of the Tourmaline feature. I rate this 5 stars.

I need a diffuser to dry my hair and traveling with my heavy and bulky home hair dryer is a pain. The X5 is great for me because it folds, is light-weight, and has a great diffuser. (I don't bother with the concentrator.) The diffuser is as wide as the one on my home hair dryer and its tips are less rounded but much softer. I have short hair and the low setting works great. Be warned that there is no cold-shot button!

I have gone through many Conair hair dryers, so I decided to try a different brand. I hit pay dirt! This hair dryer is wonderfully light. It has two attachments which are great. The attachments are soft plastic, so they don't hurt your head. This dryer doesn't have as much output as my old Conairs, but I have short hair. If you have long, heavy hair, this dryer probably is not for you. I'm so glad I finally found a wonderful light hair dryer that also folds for travel. Try one - you'll like it!

I purchased this dryer and 2 weeks into using it, the black lettering information and instructions located on the handle all rubbed off. This was under normal use a couple of days a week.

I would not purchase this item due to poor workmanship. A cheaper dryer does not have this problem. There has to be something wrong with the coating on the dryer.

This perfect, light-weight, hair dryer maintains the curl and shine in my permed hair. The radiant heat is gentle and fast, and my hair is not blown around in the process. It has taken many months to find this gem.

I bought this item as a present for my mother-in-law who travels often and needs a 110/220v hair dryer. I expected to get at least an average performance and low weight. The performance was way below standard. Air flow is barely felt 1 foot away from the dryer. If was weak but very hot 3 inches from the dryer. Using it so that the air would reach the hair would definitely result in burnt hair and scalp.

There is a chance that I got a broken item, but I didn't want to take a risk and just returned it. By the way, the filler used in the shipment was a couple of newspapers in Chinese - definitely not the way to make a good impression. Also, the original box had at least one typo (Traval Hair Dryer).

I am well pleased with the preformance of the X5 Travel Hair Dryer. It is the best hair dryer that I have purchased so far...Thank you for coming out with this dryer...
