developers dont give a crap about their fans, only $$$$$$$,

This game was so poorly rushed out they didn't even include the game fighting online, they also left out the various modes of game play for online too: like hot potato, team timer mode, time bombs. They did however leave the momentum aspect in the game, which makes your opponent drill you into the ground, with no possibility of recovering, because you cannot challenge them to a fight to gain it back like you can in offline play. Offline and online are 2 different animals. The also recently developed a code which enables people who really stink at this game to cheat online and become phenomenal players, the code enables them to catch almost every ball you throw at them.Besides all this, the developers refuse to make promised downloadable content for the game, plus fix the already existing glitches on the game, the live score boards are hosed, you can't even read them because the Microsoft servers garbage'ed up the characters, if you do get online though, you will have a long game waiting to get into a match, because people quit playing it. The hypnotix website used to host tournaments, and promise prizes, and never did that either. To add the cherry to the cake, their web site host, and game developer supports censorship (even though they developed an adult oriented game) If you even attempted to go to their website and speak your mind, or not be apart of their cliché, he will ban you from the site, yet he says he wants people opinions, more like he wants to hide peoples real opinions, if you want the real opinions about hypnotix and their products, browse the interent, because if you go to their website, all you will find is lies posted under fake names the developer has made for himself

Finally a volleyball game that comes through,
By A Customer

I have to say that this is the best volleyball game title I've played to date. While it has good eye candy the game play is what sets it apart. Plus, with the online capabilities it has great replay value. Not to mention there is a ton of stuff to keep a single player involved. If you like volleyball this is the game to pick.

I bought this game at a pawn shop and it was the best money I've spent in weeks. I am not a 'gamer', but this game is as addictive as it is fun. My favorite character is Lizzy, the punk rocker from London. She's sassy, trashy, and has a REAL bad attitude. All of the charatcers I have seen so far are fun, imaginative, and enjoyable. From Joe Doe, the Japanese Elvis Fan, to the hot Russian babe with the machine gun, there are a lot of laughs and plenty of eye candy. Even the ladies have El Suave, a Mexican beefcake who looks a lot like Jesus. Maybe the unofficial star of this whole game is the anouncer. He is hilarious.
The game is taking me a while to learn and at times can become frustrating. But when you have exploding volleyballs and dynamite placed in the playing area, you are bound lose some points that normally you would have won, but then again this is OUTLAW volleyball. If you continue to get frustrated at a player, simply hit the white button before a serve and beat them mercilessly stealing some mojo while you are at it. I've only had this game for two days, but already I can tell it is hard to put down once you start. I even learned an insane code. To give the females BIGGER breasts, the code is hold the left trigger while executing B, up, up, B, Y. Do this before the ball is served. AWESOME!!

This is an extremely fun game to own. If you're a volleyball fan or just want a game to have around so you and your friends can play, this is the one. Probably shouldn't be played by your kids because some of the gestures but a mature adult will love what is shown. One of the girls said in the game "you can blink now" and i know i was caught. I was torn between "Dead or Alive, Extreme Beach Volleyball" but i decided to go with this one because it has more volleyball orientation rather then eye candy. There's enough eye candy in this one to satisfy a persons needs, plus the game play is awesome and you contantly learn new technique's. It's well worth it.

Alot better than DOA volleyball,

Graphics-5 starsFun-4 stars Replayability- 4stars learning curve about 2 hours. (You constantly learn new techniques throughout the game) I personally think this was a great game. It is challenging from the beginning and continually becomes more challenging. I judge a game by how many times I curse at it. I cursed a lot trying to master the moves and you must account for the fact that your team mate is not as good as the AI for the other team. Your team mate will constantly make you mad until you realize you dont have to set her you can hit all the time on the second shot. The game flows well and I havent tried to use any cheats because that would ruin all of the fun. The mini games are a nice touch to get your skills up and trying to get new characters keeps you wanting to play on. I think this is a great game and I may be partial because I loved Outlaw Golf as well. I think it is a great game that focuses alot more on volleyball than DOA did. In fact after learning the basics of DOA you could just look at the actual gameplay as a needless show to get more items. In conclusion this is a great game and despite the fact that Live doesnt really work all that well the game stands alone great. By the way my game never froze up on me and I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about.

read the subject. I bought this game because I wanted a simple, cheap sports game to play with friends. What did I get? an addiction, thats what I got. For real people, this game is AWESOME with a capital... whole word. Anyways. The language in this game is funny, the announcer has given me some new catchphrases to tell people that I don't like. The made up music is some of the best video game music ever. They need to come out with a soundtrack. The graphics are great. And what all of you lonely losers not unlike myself are asking, yes the body texturing is perfect. even the physics ;) are great. Buy it, but don't let mom or girlfriend watch it or play it.

Two words that sum up this game- HELL YEAH! This is a great sports game to play by yourself or with others. Controls took about an hour or so to really master but the game play is extermely smooth. And then there is Summer. Quite possibly the best looking computer animation on the face of gaming planet. The drills to boost stats get really frustrating butimprove you skills dramaticaly. BUY THIS GAME!! If you don't like i'll buy it from you.

Cheaters Can't Blame Hypnotix,
By A Customer
This review is from: XBOX OUTLAW VOLLEYBALL (CD-ROM)
Beach Spikers for Gamecube is the best of the recent volleyball games, mostly because of its simplicity, actual beach mini-games, and cute Barbie Doll-like players. It is a sports game with rules that everybody must follow, not a game designed for cheaters like Outlaw Volleyball. But that's what makes this game fun.One of the best offline features is fighting your opponents if you start to lose. You can really put the hurt on the AI "adjustment" with a few fight tokens. You can also unlock everything in exhibition mode with the correct pad cheat. And of course, there's all that M-rated language and racy antics of Outlaw Golf's original characters. But everything changes when you go online, especially if it is an "M" game. The first online rule is that EVERYONE is invited no matter how bad they suck in this game, and must conduct themselves according to the fine print when they first signed up with XBOX LIVE. It's not censorship, it's "editing" for appropriate language and content. The box reads CONTENT DL on the back and can download Trixie to your menu, but why can't she be nude? The basic rule is that Hypnotix and Xbox Live are not porn sites, and they don't download naked Sims skins. If you want all that, then play PC games online. Otherwise, you are kicked out for abusing the system. And as far as other players cheating just like Killer "I rule all the courts!" Miller, those codes are for the kiddies not to be crushed by Half-Lifers who dominate online games. So if you like multi-player but still want to lay the smack and cut into the cheese, then invite someone head-to-head in your own home and take full advantage of EVERYTHING that's in the game. The way to rule OV is to be cool like Doe Joe. But the big payoff is at the end of the tour when Nikki, the loser rock star who sells his soul to the Devil to be the greatest volleyball player in the world, performs "Phone Number Of The Beast", a hilarious version of Iron Maiden's classic hit. You get to watch the Hypnotix crew get squashed, eaten, and roasted by Satan himself. Makes up for a lot of frustration, and pretty much sums up what happens when you play online.

weak volleyball,
By A Customer
This review is from: XBOX OUTLAW VOLLEYBALL (CD-ROM)
I had higher expectations after playing outlaw golf. This game focused less on the volleyball and more on the extraneous crap that unstabilized the game. It's locked up my Xbox too many times in the middle of gameplay. The volleyball is weak here. The best volleyball game I've played is Beach Spikers on GameCube. Sad but true.
