4.0 out of 5 stars Not as bad as they say......
OK, this is one of those "love it or hate it' products.

I did a lot of research before buying the XFPS 360 PRO. I read lot's of forums and feedbacks so I would know what I was getting into.

Now that I got one my overall impression has been positive. I experience very little lag. As far as the 'dead spot' I'm able to get very close to my target...

1.0 out of 5 stars i bought the xfps 360 pro
and i am disappointed. Mine works like it is supposed to. 2 things upset me. 1st is that you can not change the bindings of either analog thumbsticks (such as i wanted to change the movement keys w,a,s,d to the up,down, left, right arrow keys, but can't). 2nd is that the deadzone still exists. The only difference in between the original "xfps 360" and the "xfps 360 pro"...

OK, this is one of those "love it or hate it' products.

I did a lot of research before buying the XFPS 360 PRO. I read lot's of forums and feedbacks so I would know what I was getting into.

Now that I got one my overall impression has been positive. I experience very little lag. As far as the 'dead spot' I'm able to get very close to my target then use the STRAFE keys to line up the shot. It's true you can't do micro movement targeting, but for me it's worth the trade off compared to targeting with a controller.

I imagine a lot of complaints stem from using mouse and/or keyboards that aren't entirely compatible. I've found using a high-accurate optical mouse works good. I personally use the Logitech LX3. I also use a standard PS/2 keyboard. (from an old dell computer)

When using the XFPS 360 PRO I'll turn the sensitivity dials all the way up then use the games' sensitivity levels to find my ideal settings. For me this got rid of a lot of the lag. It's worth mentioning that I've found the lag will change with different games.

I think most people are forgetting that this thing is for emulating thumbstick movement and that the games were not designed for use with a mouse. I was impressed that it sensed both fast and semi-slow movements. You can see the XFPS PRO in action on youTube by searching for 'XFPS'.

My biggest complaint is the overall price. By the time you're done setting this up your going to spend close to $200. You will need a 'wired' 360 controller (a wireless one will not work), an optical mouse, keyboard, and the XFPS 360 PRO. Add and extra $50-$60 for a wireless headset if you want to talk on XBOX LIVE.

I justified the price by comparing it to having to buy a new video card for my computer. I would have to spend $400-$500 on a decent card that's only going to last 12-14 months. Consoles have a shelf life of around 5 years.

My second biggest complaint is the lack of service from the manufacturer. They don't have a decent list of compatible products and the instructions for setting it up are a bit shady. If I hadn't read posts and seen videos about it I might have been lost.

I showed the setup to a hardcore PC gamer friend of mine and he liked it. So much he questioned dropping $600 on an Nvidia 8800GTX he bought recently.

Bottom line I'm giving this product 4 out 5 stars. While it's got quirks it has improved my gameplay of FPS on a console by leaps and bounds. It's too bad it costs so much!

I've always been a PC Gamer, but lately most a lot of good games have been made only for the consoles, specially shooters. I wanted to play those games but unfortunately I s**k using the analog sticks, I was trying to get used but I was really frustrated by my lack of improvement. Finally I found the XFPS Pro, I read the reviews and toke my chances spending 100 bucks on it, and I'm really satisfied with my decision. I'm using it with a Microsoft HABU mouse (Microsoft Sidewinder Mouse doesn't work with it) and a PS2 Keyboard.

It is not perfect, but is better than using the game pad, specially if you are a PC gamer like me. I've finished Bioshock in hard and the XFPS worked perfectly. I'm now playing Halo 3 with my friends and I'm not bad at all.

The product is not perfect, it emulates the analog stick, but it's a lot better than using the game pad.

I bought this device because I own a X-Arcade game controller that I wanted to use with Street Fighter IV on my XBox 360. The "fight stick" cannot be directly plugged into the 360 because it is not on the approved list of devices since it can also be used on the Playstation 3. This product allows it to work perfectly. There are no problems, it just works. Highly recommend it.

The only difference in between the original "xfps 360" and the "xfps 360 pro" is the color, and the x,y sensitivity adjustments. The deadzone is the same, and really upsets me. Incase u don't know what i mean by "deadzone".... when i try to sharpshoot a small target, the little minute adjustments of the mouse are not recognized. I have to move the mouse at least 3 millimeters for the xfps to register it, and by that time the crosshair moves at near full speed. DONT BUY THIS!!!

Bought this product for use by a partial quadriplegic whom lacked full hand control. Works pretty well for him.. ended up plugging in the keyboard, mouse, and controller and playing with all of them at the same time. Only complaint is that there is still a dead zone even though the company claims to have eliminated it.

Don't waste your money on the fps 360 pro its total crap and is just about useless on its own. the sencitivity adjustments do nothing for the dead zone issue, aiming is near impossible even with the best gaming mouse. However if you plug a SmartJoy Frag into the playstation 2 adapter port and do the power mod to get enough juice out of it to run an optical mouse it works great. The SmartJoy Frag for the PS2 is what this should have been. I use an xfps with a modded smart joy frag and love the results, ultra high precision aiming with a logitech mx518. Using a smart joy frag is easy if you can solder the little part inside and its well worth looking up how to do (maxconsole forums have instructions), you can even use a usb splitter if you don't want to solder.

On its own the XFPS is worthless, but if you can get your hands on a real SJF its a thing of beauty. so do yourself a favor and don't buy the pro or the sniper model, get the old xfps 360 for less money, the black one is the old model, and mod a Smart Joy Frag, its the only way to make this piece of junk usable.

USED IT ONCE AND WILL NEVER USE IT AGAIN. THIS PRODUCT IS DELAYED, WHEN YOU PRESS THE MOUSE BUTTON OR MOVE IT AROUND IT TAKES A SECOND FOR THE ACTIONS TO WORK ON THE T.V. SCREEN. GREAT IDEA, WASTE OF MONEY. IT NEEDS TO BE UPDATED.

One star because Its Amazon and you can return it for a partial refund.

Bottom line: it does not work.
This is a product that some manufacturer just dumps in the US for hapless consumers.
Tech support is non-existent. No phone number to call and they do not respond to emails.
Its a great idea, I just wish it worked.
