I highly recommend this card to anyone builiding a gaming or budget rig.

This video card was so great that it is now able to play top notch games/videos that the other parts of the computer cannot even handle right now.
Mukuro5
I can throw any game at it (GTA IV, MW3, Skyrim, etc) and I can max it out @ 1080p.

I was doing a research and was undecided if getting this AMD 7850 or the EVGA 650 ti SSC (overclocked). At the end I went to futuremark, read many other reviews and found this card with an exceptional performance and superior by far to the 650 ti Overclocked and also superior to the GTX 560 ti 448, Awesome!!! I have uploaded a couple of pictures inside a CM HAF 912.
Here is some important info that can help you to decide:

PROS and some INFO:
- This card is a beast! 860Mhz clock, 1200Hz speed and 1024 processors. GDDR 5 and PCI-E 3.0.
- First if you have internet connection, forget about the disc and dowload the drivers from amd directly. You can use Catalyst 13.1 version. I am using it and I have noticed an increase in FPS performance without any issues. You can connect the card to your TV or monitor out of the box but the drivers are needed for configuration. By the way I could not download the drives from XFX because the file was not downloading completely, reason why I got them from amd website.
- The card plays excellent top high end games with exceptional frame rates. I got 7.9 in windows experience Index.
- I tested Tomb Raider (avg. 85 fps @1080p high to ultra settings)Dirt 2 and Dirt 3 ( AVG. 126fps ultra @ 1080p), Dishonored maxed out 1080p (Avg. 99 fps), COD BO 1 and 2 @ 1080p maxed out (avg. 111 fps), Farcry 3 1080p mid to high settings ( Avg 98fps) take in consideration that for optimal resolution FC3 needs a 7970 video card, and hitman Absolution maxed out 1080p high settings (Avg. 104 fps).
- I am getting those FPS but you will notice tearing in some frames, you can correct that by enabling V-sync in the settings of the game but you will be getting 59-60 FPS only depending on the refresh rate of your monitor.

I upgraded this card from my previous HIS 6670 graphics card. This card is a budget gamer's solution. It not only increased my speed of my pc, but the games I play are running so much smoother and faster. Right now I am writing this review using it. Black Ops II runs maxed out, and so do all my other 50 games except CoD Ghost (But I can't blame the card. It still runs Ghosts lagless). Fits nice on my Micro ATX MB. Windows 7 identified it and found the drivers online and downloaded everything it needed. One restart and its running like a champ. Mys specs are below:

-Raidmax Aeolus Mid-Tower case w/ six fans running at Level 5 according to ASRock ATXU tuner
-AMD FM1 65w A6-3670k Quad core processor 2.70Ghz overclocked to 3.1ghz
-ASRock A55-HVS Motherboard with HD 6550 on board graphics
-2 TB Seagate hard drive
-Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
-Solid Gear 600 watt PSU (Don't recommend)
-6 coolermaster fans
-TP-Link 450mbps PCI-E wireless card
-LG disk drive

I bought this card to replace my aged HD5750. This card plays every game I own on high settings at least. I have heard other people complain about fan noise, but I can honestly say I have not heard any. If you only have one monitor and rarely play above 1920x1080 resolution, this card will work wonders for you.

List of games I have played with this card and settings:

Borderlands 2 - Max
Crysis 2 - Extreme
The Witcher 2 - High
Fallout 3 - Max
Just Cause 2 - Max
DmC Devil may Cry - Max
Red Faction Armageddon - Max

I have had the card for two weeks and no problems.

My specs are:
AMD Phenom II X4 970
8gb DDR3 1333 Gskill
XFX HD7850
Windows 7 home premium

I upgraded to this card from a Galaxy GTS 450 OC card. I loved that card and it served me very well, I'm actually sad to see it go. But to stay current (but not bankrupting me), I bought the XFX HD 7850 1gb edition. I ran it through the gauntlet and for current titled games it ran each one on ultra settings on one monitor with smoothness and quiet operation. I put the fan on manual to hear it from off to 100% on, and I have to say, it is alot quieter then people claim (and my case is mid-level, w/ high end PSU and CPU fan). Granted at 100% its the loudest thing in my build... it should be. But on auto, while playing Battlefield 3 on very high settings during GPU laboring moments of the game, I don't even notice it.
Also I over clocked it to 1010 Mhz core clock and 1250 mem clock with the temp. staying around 41 C peak. I got this card because I never owned a AMD GPU and I wanted to see one in action and I am very pleased. Nvidia makes great cards too, but at this point, for future upgrades it will all be about which company has the better deal, and right now...AMD has the best deal with this card. (In particularly XFX's version)
The only con is that this card only has 1 gb memory, which is all you could possibly need if you are using one monitor. But every now and then I use my monitor and my 3D tv at the same time (when I have company) and if you are doing too much on two screens the card has a slight hiccup once in a while. A minor drawback for me, but keep it in mind when shopping for GPUs.

*4 month update--- I've had this card for a few months now and it's still running strong. After doing more research into graphics cards, I read about Nvidia's physX. Since this is a AMD card it will not run physX.
