Built quality of this product is amazing. The reason why i chose this one compared to some other products is as follows:

- Fully Modular
- 80+ GOLD rated
- Single Rail construction method
- ALL BLACK CABLES!!! This was a very important factor for me personally, since it had to match the theme i chose to go with.

I only have the product for a few days, but so far i am very very happy with it. It runs totally QUIET, and with the Hybrid mode where the FAN does not go on at all until 30% Load is just awesome...

I can highly recommend this product :-)

I've installed this in a system with a core i5 3570K and two GTX 670's. From what I've read, this unit is made by Seasonic who are a highly regarded manufacturer. The flat cables are really nice, the look better than sleeved cables to me. My one issue is I notice some coil whine when the system is off. I can live with it because it's not very loud and I've read that coil whine is normal for some Seasonic models.

Purchased this power supply to replace a 3 year old one as it was starting to fail - the power was not stable. Purchased this after reading several reviews about it and all were positive. The internal power connectors are thin, so it allows a better air flow. Nice that it is also 80 Gold and a single rail. I would buy another one when needed.

After 6 months of use, I have nothing to complain about with this psu. The price was excellent considering it's really made by seasonic. The wattage was probably overkill for my build. I'm not sure the fan ever turns on, and if it does, I definitely can't hear it over the case and cpu fans. I have never noticed it's there, which is exactly what I want in a psu.

No problems so far, after reading about numerous other power supplies that either were dead on arrival or failed within the first few months I was concerned. Price was excellent from Amazon and 4 months later still no issues.

This power supply is near perfect. It comes nicely packaged with multiple boxes that fit perfectly together. There are more cables than you could possibly need. There are two CPU cables, so if you have a board that can use two CPU 's this would work. The cables are lovely black ribbon style that look great. There's SATA and molex cablesThe power supply is also fully modular which is great. And its also quiet. I own an Antecc power supply that's quiet noisy, especially under load. I can't even tell when this one is on or not. Which may be due to the hybrid fan control. Hybrid fan control will adapt the fan speed to the temperatures, but it's too quiet for me to tell whether or not its working. I'm unsure if this is good or bad. However, I have nothing bad to say about this product. I only wish it had come with Velcro cable ties like my antec PSU did.

I put this PSU into my new gaming rig. It looks phenomenal, and works even better.

The PSU has two fan modes, Hybrid and Normal. Hybrid basically runs the fan only when the system is under more than 30% load in order to keep your rig running quiet.

The fully modular PSU lets you plug in only the cables you need to power the components you're running.

The parts are manufactured by SeaSonic, which is a highly recommended PSU brand on many overclocking forums. Many rig builders will say the PSU is one of the most important parts of your rig. Poorly regulated power can't be good for your internal components.

If you're still on the fence, this forum post was extremely helpful:

Very happy, would buy again.

I want to start off by stating that this PSU is listed as a Tier 1 psu, which means that you can't get any better as far as quality goes. That being said, I recently upgraded my rig and was looking for a decent PSU to fit my needs for overclocking and whatnot. I originally owned a 620w Seasonic M12ii, which was another Tier 1 psu, but was not fully modular and had the thick braided wires. These wires make cable management so much easier. The psu also comes with a hybrid switch, that will automatically turn the fan off during low power consumption.
