Finally...A Card that can handle "Oblivion".,
By
This review is from: XFX PVT73KYAL3 GeForce 7600GS 400MHz 512MB DDR2 AGP 8x Video Card ( DVI / VGA ) (Personal Computers)
We all know that Morrowind-"Oblivion" was meant to be played via PCI-e,but let me tell you, this card can handle the game. Before you get too happy though(for those of you who are late playing "Elder ScrollsIV"), even with this card there are other key factors that go along with running the game with the Geforce7600GS,Memory(minimum-1gb it helps to have high performance sticks like 'Corsair') and also your overall system and processor type. But anyway, back to this BEAST of a videocard. AWESOME!!! I've owned several cards in the past-99% of them have been 'nVidia' and for an AGP card, so far, I haven't seen or have been impressed by any others besides this one. Killer graphics that can handle a good percentage of the latest games out there. You notice i said a good percent,..not ALL. Like i mentioned earlier, some of the newer games out today are meant to be played on systems w/ PCI-e cards, but for those of you who still have a PC w/AGP 8x slot, this card is for you. Yeah there are cheaper ones ( especially with the decline of AGP) BUT REMEMBER...you get what you pay for so if you can afford the $153.00, GO for it..you won't be sorry, just don't buy this card without the purchase of at least a 400WATT power supply or greater. This card requires direct power from your power supply, unlike other cards that draw thier power from the motherboard. 512MB of Memory POWER... ENJOY.......

This is a great card. Many of the games that I play require a pretty advanced card. I could get some of them to work with my old one, but the Geforce 7600GS blows it out of the water. I mean everything is smoother, the graphics are amazing, even my computer itself runs faster because of this card. And of course I wouldn't be able to play Supreme Commander with out it.
I would recommend this to any serious gamer, or to the parents of any serious gamer. Well worth the money, I would say.

Video card worked great. No problem installing card. Package arrived in opened condition. Package had been opened, so don't know if item was used or returned. Although the card worked out very good.

The Nvidia card worked out of the box with my Gateway FPD2185W Monitor while the others did not. I have had not problems with it except for the Vista driver. It keeps cutting out and even freezing the screen. I understand the company is still working on it. I got the latest beta and it works better. I expect the company will eventually get it right (that is if they want to stay in business.)

Fuzzy Wuzzy's Summary:
***** Highly recommended with warm fuzzies! I bought this to drive a new 22-inch LCD screen at its native 1680x1050 resolution since the 4-year old Nvidia GeForce4 card did not support that resolution. Afterwards, I updated to the latest Nvidia driver version 93.71. Runs all applications and games (on Windows XP) fast with no glitches or problems.

This gpu was a key ingredient of my first diy upgrade on my five year old machine. With a Pentium 4 3.0 ghz, 2 gigs of RAM and a 400 watt psu I'm playing my fave game Far Cry on max settings with beautiful smooth results. Also picked up F.E.A.R and The Witcher both of which run just fine with this rig (although I can't max the settings on the Witcher) All in all I'm extremely pleased with my "new" old computer. For under $100 I think its alot of bang for the buck.

A solid medium powered card for those with aging AGP slots! Runs everything I need it to smoothly on the highest graphics settings. Recommend.
