Unrivaled Visuals with DirectX 11 Support

The Radeon 5670 is a graphics powerhouse. With 627 million transistors, it can muscle through most next-generation games. It also uses advanced GDDR5 memory that can keep up with the high-bandwidth demands of today's games. With so much graphic power at its disposal, the card guarantees a smooth, latency-free gaming experience.

The card also boasts superior filtering capabilities. It supports up to 24x multi-sample anti-aliasing that works to smooth out jagged edges and eliminate graphical artifacts. And with up to 16x anisotropic filtering, textures appear sharper than ever.

Most importantly, however, the Radeon 5670 gives you access to DirectX 11 (DX11)--the next generation of PC graphics technology. DX11 unlocks brand-new graphical features like tessellation, which allows for greater realism and detail. More and more games rely on DX11, and with the Radeon 5670, you won't be left behind with an inferior graphics card.

ATI Eyefinity for an Immersive, Panoramic View

The Radeon 5670 also features ATI Eyefinity, a radical new technology that allows you to expand your display across up to three monitors. Using Eyefinity, you can achieve a wide, panorama-like display. Since each monitor preserves its native resolution, you'll be able to link your monitors without a decrease in sharpness.

If you're a gamer, the added visual space gives you a real advantage. Shooter fans will have expanded peripheral vision and will react faster to incoming enemies. Real-time strategists will get a commanding view of the map and will be able to execute strategies more effectively. And flight simulators will feel more immersive than ever, placing you directly in the cockpit.

High-Definition Video and Audio

With the Radeon 5670, you'll be able to enjoy all of your HD media with unparalleled crispness and clarity. The card is equipped with ATI Avivo, a new reference technology that speeds up HD image processing. With Avivo, you can expect flawless, smooth video playback, with faster decoding and post-processing than ever. Avivo also enables full HDMI connectivity and support for the latest HD color profiles, so you can watch Blu-ray movies on your computer.

The Radeon 5670 also sports an integrated audio controller that supports HD audio profiles like AC-3, AAC, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD. It features up to 7.1 channel surround audio and delivers a powerful HD audio performance.

Energy Efficiency and Quiet

Thanks to ATI's industry-leading power design, you'll also enjoy the ultimate in energy efficiency and quietness while using the Radeon 5670. The card utilizes PowerPlay technology, which dynamically adjusts power use depending on how active the card is. This helps the GPU disperse heat more effectively, ensuring that your card runs safely and stably. It also makes the card quieter, so you can hear your games instead of your computer.

Crossfire Support for Multiple GPU Power

PC gaming is more immersive than ever before, but it is also much more hardware intensive. To keep up with the latest benchmarks, one graphics card sometimes isn't enough. Thankfully, the ATI Radeon 5670 supports Crossfire, which allows you to link two graphics cards together for a greatly increased GPU output. This added graphic power eliminates frame-rate hiccups and slowdowns and improves your gaming even more.

The ATI Radeon HD 5670 PCI-Express Video Card is backed by a three-year warranty.

If you buy an XFX product relying on the warranty, then don't buy XFX.

Easy to install and very fast...I tried the Sapphire as well as other cards before trying the XFX...this is the one, Neo.

I also have a 450w Power Supply and it runs these two cards together just fine.

This Graphics on this card is awesome. The installation was a breeze as it was plug and play. No Additional power source needed.

Make sure you have good fans in your case as this thing can generate quite an amount of heat due to the processing power it has.

For those having problems with HDMI, after you install the card you have to boot your machine in VGA mode and install the ATI catalyst driver along with windows update for realtek hdmi audio drivers after which you can hook up your HDMI TV or any other device and it should work fine.

The card boosted my Windows 7 Graphics score to 6.8 and eats any game I throw at it.

After having problems with a Sapphire card of similar specs, I went with this card as it has very good reviews all over the net. Very Satisfied. XFX products will be in my shortlist for future PC upgrade purchases.

Note: THIS CARD DOES NOT HAVE A VGA PORT AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE. YOU WILL NEED A DVI to VGA ADAPTER FOR VGA MONITORS. AMAZON NEEDS TO FIX THE PIC AS IT IS MISLEADING.

Finding the right video card will give you a headache if you're not up on the specs and requirements for it to fit in your computer. I got advice from a variety of power users who suggested all sorts of pricey units (upwards of $200-300) and I was ready to buy, until I researched the installation a bit more carefully. Dual slot vid cards require the slot above the PCIeX16 slot to be open, I had none, installation of a dual slot vid card would have required surgery on my computer case. Next, most of those high end cards require power supply beyond what's included from the motherboard, and its' not even the same connectors as my power supply had, yet more work and expense, just to get an extra year or two from my PC.

Well the good news is one of the suggestions from a friend of a friend was this unit, who actually listened to my needs for a reasonably priced vid card that worked in my computer (Dell E521). I installed it and benchmarked it, amazing the difference in 3D performance, not that I game, but the sluggish behavior on the screen at various times went away, and videos play much, much better. Best of all, it's a simple single slot card, no external power supply is required, it just plugged in and worked, with the included drivers of course. Well worth the $100 or so price tag.

I have this product installed in a ASUS P5K-E mainboard, which is probably PCI-E 1.0. My previous graphics board was a HD 3850 PCI-E 2.0, and this HD 5670 is PCI-E 2.1. Both cards worked great in my system. Do not be concerned if your system is PCI-E 1.0, get this card, you will not be disappointed. Installation was easy; just download the latest drivers and Catalyst Control Center from ATI and don't use the drivers provided on the included CD (they're out of date). Also, note that no power connectors are needed with this card, so you don't have to worry about having the proper power connection from you power supply (power is supplied through the card slot); just make sure you have at least 400 watts capacity. No CrossFire connector is included with this card. I did not test the HDMI or DP video connectors on the outside of the card, just the DVI.

I had this card for about 3 weeks and I was having so many problems with it. I know computer tech and video cards especially so I tried everything I could think of. A lot of people in my situation would give 1 star and say "Didn't work" then usually its because it is not compatible with their motherboard or they have a 250w PSU. Well I met and exceeded all the requirements but it still would simply stop working momentarily, work again, stop working, etc. It was beyond frustrating. The reason why? Because it is such a great card. I could sit here and bash it for being defective but I don't believe that will help any consumer. Those who bash a product because of a rare circumstance or because they didn't read the requirements do not help anyone, not even themselves (with the exception of blowing off some steam) because they are still as ignorant before. I digress...

I ended up sending the card back, purchased another one, and of course it is working very well. This is the best card out there that doesn't require it's own power source. Just take out your old one, put this one right in and you're done. Lately, I've been playing a lot of world of warcraft and I have the settings on high and am maintaining about 65 fps in most situations, only dipping as low as 45 in very specific areas (all of which do not require a very high fps). It performs quite well for its price range. However, the HD 5770 is a significant step up for only a few dollars but requires the purchase of a new PSU. If you have a good 550w PSU or a 600W decent PSU or higher I would go with the 5770. But, for many, including the casual gamer or those who don't need the best of the best this is your best option. You will not regret it.

1 star off because of the amazing quality of the HD 5770 which is such a good upgrade for the money.

Even after reading the many glowing reviews on Amazon for this card, I was staggered at the performance difference compared with my 1-year old ATI Radeon - it's leagues ahead in speed for both gaming and Photoshop graphics.

Upgrading is a 15-minute process - 5 minutes to change the cards out, 5 minutes to register and download the drivers, and 5 minutes of software installation and rebooting. Windows 7 identifies the card and you have to let it install some base drivers before the ATI configuration utility will discover the new hardware.

I'm running two monitors through the card - one on HDMI and one on DVDI at their highest resolutions. After the upgrade, Windows performance for graphics increased from 5.9 to 7.0. I can also run Team Fortress 2 at 1920 pixels wide with all the highest settings and the framerate is blazing.

If you're looking to make a big difference to your graphics performance without spending much money, the XFX 5670 is absolutely the way to go. What a great graphics card.
