The Case-it D-185 Zipper Binder can hold it all! This neat, zippered binder has extra-large 4-inch D-rings with 5-tab file folder for all your organization needs. The gusseted zipper allows you to access the file folders without opening the whole binder. It comes with a unique angled zipper design along with a handle and shoulder strap for easy mobility. The D-185, like all of Case-it's binders, uses Kraft board instead of PE board to give its binders a firm, stiff shape that won't buckle or warp. The spine is specially designed so that your binder can lay flat when open, making it easier to add or take papers out, and to put notes in. I purchased the zip binder to organize my coupons. For the most part, I am pleased with the purchase. However, by the time I inserted my tab dividers for the different sections of coupons, there is barely enough room to zip closed without the zipper hanging on the tabs that stick out. If you do not plan to use dividers, you shouldn't have any problems.
On the up side, I purchased the X large (4" D ring)binder so there is plenty of room for storage inside for my legal pad that I make notes on while shopping, and also a handy mesh zipper pouch to store pens, scissors,etc..... right in reach when needed. There is also a handy 5 tab file folder on the left side to store my sales circulars for the week so I will have them with me when shopping. On the outside front, there is a shallow zippered pouch to keep my keys and checkbook, so I don't have to worry with a purse. The shoulder strap comes in handy if I want to throw it over my shoulder and I then have my hands free to shop. All in all, it was well worth the money. I just wish they had given a little more zipper room on the edge.

I am sooooo happy with this binder. First off, It is a 5", not a 4"! And for us extreme coupon gals, and that is heavenly. It is still low profile enough to comfortably carry on your shoulder with the included shoulder strap. Another thing I love about the Case-It brand is that they are hard sided unlike my 5-Star that I started out with in the beginning. This means it doesn't cave in in the front of the grocery cart but sits up nicely like a good little coupon binder should. As far as zippers and construction quality, I've had no problems, but I do treat it gently like a 4th child as I have almost as much invested! (JK LOL!)

These monster binders are required by our school district for middle school kids. Last year we went through 3 of them and they are very difficult to find on the store shelf. This year I ordered 4 when I found them on the internet and I'm pretty sure it will take at least that many to get us through the school year. The idea of them is just peachy but in reality they are just not up to the everyday use of a middle school kid. Our kids are supposed to be able to fit everything they need for a school day in these binders: folders, paper, notebooks, etc. The rings are whimpy, the zippers flimsy and the fabric should be tougher. I imagine better quality would make them more expensive but I'd sure be willing to pay for it.

4/18/12 I spent over $30 for this binder and the zipper broke within 2 months. I would expect a binder for that amount of money to at least last one school year. If I had bought it at a store like Wal-Mart, most likely I could have even exchanged it, but I'm told that I only had about a month to return this item. It wasn't broken at one month. I am not happy with this product at all.

4/20/12 I would like to add to this review I wrote above a few days ago. I emailed customer service about my product and got a brand new one in the mail. I am so impressed that they stood by their product and replaced it. I wasn't even expecting it and was so shocked when I opened the box. Hopefully this one will last longer!! Thank you very much for helping us. I'm adding two stars to my review in the hopes that we will not have to replace this one. Thank you.

This is a trapper with the most capacity I've found. Plenty of room for papers and books. The only problem I've found is the weakness around the seams. We've put it to "middle school" use for a month and it's already falling apart.

I ordered this for my wife for her coupons along with some coupon pocket pages. She loves the binder and really likes that it has a shoulder strap so she can cart it back and forth to the stores. It has lots of room for more pages, lots of pockets and whatnot. However, the inside mesh pocket is starting to come undone from the binder a little bit so she has to be careful. It's not that big of a deal and I'm sure she could repair it easily if it was a big inconvenience, but it isn't. Just be careful not to put too much inside the pocket sections. Overall though, this is a terrific binder with some great features and it zips fully around itself so nothing falls out. I would definitely recommend this for coupons!

Love the size of this product, but didn't read the description well enough. I only saw that it was a 4 inch binder. I didn't realize that the rings were D-Rings. It makes it very difficult to flip through the pages. I use this binder for coupons, so I have over 100 clear page protectors with 16 dividers. All the page protectors are filled with coupons. I need to be able to flip through the pages quickly to locate the coupons I need. This is VERY difficult with the D-ring. If the rings were circular, I would have given this product 5 stars.

At first, my daughter was very pleased with the color and size of the binder because it was everything she needed for school. Unfortunately, she has only had it a few weeks and I can already see the fabric weakening along the corners. I am pretty disappointed in the quality of the binder. In the picture, it looks more like a canvas type fabric that can withstand rough, daily usage. I can see that I am going to have to search once again for something else within the next month.
