Easy to put together.

What I love is that you can do pull ups, dips, leg/knee raises, push ups, and there is even a foot hold to assist with sit ups.

It is very sturdy and well made, and the assembly is very easy to do yourself.

I got this for around 215 bucks to add to my growing home gym and I am very happy with it so far. I'm 6'1 and 205 lbs and I wanted to have something I had to reach for when doing pull-ups. This is very tall, over 7 ft, and definitely serves that purpose. For those of you who are wondering if it wobbles, I cant say it doesn't at all (at least if your trying to make it wobble), but when you engage your weight fully on the machine it really locks down rock solid. I feel totally comfortable doing any sort of exercise possible although I wouldn't advocate swinging around on it. The arm pads do sink in a little when you're in the captain''s chair, but its still very comfortable and there is ample padding remaining beneath. The grips and bars for dips are very thick. The back rest is set at a great angle, it's pretty large and fits my back well. I have not used the leg holders for sit-ups but the foam seems comfortable and the pins work well.

Building time was about 1hr 45min for me. I read the instructions and followed everything it said, including not tightening the bolts with more then my hands until all pieces were assembled. Then I used adjustable wrenches and started from the bottom up tightening every bolt and screw, DONT OVER TIGHTEN. The diagram was constructed well and every piece was accounted for in the packaging. It weighs just under 100 lbs. (probably why it's so sturdy) and the screws and bolts are massive. I have no doubt it is built to last. The cardboard box that it arrived in was packaged great, not an overwhelming amount of pieces.

This fitness tower really impresses me, I am looking forward to buying more XMark equipment.

EDIT: The leg holder for sit-ups are great! I have used it many times at this point.

The product is high enough for me to do pull ups. I'm 6'2" and weigh 190. It is also a sturdy and easy to put together. I got it for $215 and I'm really happy with my purchase, especially after shopping for about 2 weeks. This was the best price and quality out there. It also comes with a lifetime warranty.

Absolutely love this Pull up station. I'm 5'6" and it works great. It's tall enough I don't touch the ground yet short enough so I don't need a ladder to reach the pull up bar. My husband is 5"11" and he loves it too, no issues with height at all. The station is very sturdy and well built.

I am in the Army and wanted to start my own in home gym. I am 6'1'' and 185 pounds.

First "slight" problem It was too short so I would have to pick up my knees to get off the ground.

Second real problem, the bar behind the back pad slammed into my knees every time I pulled up which couldn't be avoided because I would otherwise be touching the ground. (sorry for the run on sentence)

Third problem it rocked way too much and I had to have my wife help stabilize by standing on the "push up bars"

The dip bar was ok and the pad was comfortable but the sit up rollers and the "push up bar" were useless.

I am a Trustee in a condo building in Boston...and looked a many similar products before deciding on this one. It is a great value for the money and users like it very much. It took 2 of us about an hour to assemble it. The instructions were clear and useful. I can highly recommend this, along with a treadmill and elliptical. A fair amount of upper body strength is needed to use this tower, as the user must be able to support his/her body weight...a power tower is not for the beginner.

I checked out a number of other pull-up/dip stations before deciding to go with the XM-4432 because of the good rating from other reviewers.

Being an Amazon Prime member, I got the package, with FREE shipping, within three days. When it arrived, I was pretty excited about opening it so to start the assembly right away.
Here are the sequence of events that unfolded:

1) Soon after starting the assembly, I could not get one of the support bars to fit as shown in the manual. Upon closer examination, I found that the bar had a poor welding job which made it impossible for the piece (crooked) to fit as shown in the diagram.
2) I called the XMark support line the next day. The support lady was pretty helpful and shipped the replacement after asking a few questions.
3) The replacement part, which was shipped by ground, took 6 days to reach me.
4) Now with the right parts on hand, it took my son and me about 2 hours to put it all together.
5) The instructions were pretty clear except for one of the sections which was a bit confusing (washers not needed).

The finished station is in my garage. The quality of materials, in my opinion, is about average.
On the positive note, it's pretty sturdy and my son and I really enjoy using it.
BTW, I paid $240 and I saw it on Amazon today at $205. So you may want to bookmark the item and buy it when it's on sale.

Assembly required. Just lay everything out and follow the directions and you will end up with a low cost high end gym.

I am 5'10 and about 190 pounds. I do pull ups and hang on the top bar just for stretching and this unit is sturdy and stable.

I've never noticed any thoughtlessness with this units design.

I am a single guy so I placed this unit in a prominent location. I can decide at the spur of the moment to do pull ups or dips or stomach crunches. This is a great unit for doing stomach crunches by bringing the knees up while resting my arms on the comfortable pads. I love doing dips on the front of the gym and there is no other way to do dips without going to a gym.
