A very compact little unit, you can see from the images I provided, it's basically the size of a cd. I have never purchased an inverter before, and this is my first such purchase. The unit is very small and seems well made and sturdy.

I noticed that on my unit, the fan did not turn on. I have only tested the unit on short trips and short usage, so am hoping that the fan only turns on when the unit needs to, perhaps automatically. So far so good, runs quietly and hasn't gotten hot yet. Product also comes with an extra fuse.

I will contact the manufacturer and update on the functionality of the fan.

I just got this to plug up a Blackberry charger and a Palm Pre charger for my car... it works just as I want it to. Turns on with my car, turns off with my car and keeps a great voltage level for my finicky Palm Pre charger with Touchstone.

I'm sure it would run great with a laptop needing juice off it or whatever needs to get some electricity. Sound is minimal, I put it under the driver seat and I never hear it while its running, only when I turn the car on and off.. I'll hear a little transistor squeek from it. Its not a problem at all.

Researched a few power inverters out there, and this was THE one with 2 plugs, sweet.

Got this for a long road trip so that we could allow the kids to watch movies while we were on the road. It also allowed us to charge the computer and phones without any trouble at all (not all at once). My only complaint about this unit is that it smells like something is burning all the time but that seems to be the case with most of them when the fan comes on.

does its job just make sure you follow instructions dont jump on to it and burn out your fuses the inverter will be ok and still funtion as suppose to for more power connect the inverter to your battery, cigerate liter only takes up to 120v thats all check your voltage before connecting to cigerate liter.battery connection is best option if inverter cant take it, it will just turn off but still function as suppose to the stronger the inverter the better.

This is a great little inverter, works good, I leave it on most of the time when camping, hardly any battery drain until use, and the price is good also.
