The item performed rather well as long as it lasted, but after very light 5 month usage the tablet refuses to boot and gets stuck on the android logo. I called the company and they want me to pay $60 plus shipping to get it fixed or replaced. This tablet is definitely not worth the price they ask to fix, because it can't be trusted to work for more than six months. (their warranty covers 90 days. ridiculous.. this means they do not trust their own product beyond 90 days so be warned!). Do not be fooled by this scam of a company and their big bold letters that state " ONE YEAR WARRANTY" That is a lie and it is stated in the fine print that after 90 days you will have to pay to them, so what warranty is that? warranty that they will fix it if you pay more than half of the cost of the tablet?! WHAT?. Their customer service is horrible. The manager told me that every tablet they sell has a different way of re-flashing the tablet, which is the term used to describe the process of fixing the Operating System, yet they sent me an email with what they call "general instructions to flash". Why would they have "general instructions" when every tablet has a different way of doing it. The files they sent me where for a different tablet, so I called again and the second time around the files where for my tablet but had the same confusing and useless instructions that DO NOT work with this tablet. (TRUST ME, THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE WRONG FROM THE 2 STEP ON, AND THE FIRST STEP IS MAKING SURE THE TABLET IS OFF) I called and asked to speak with a manager whom the operator said was not available. I called JR which was the store I bought it for and the operator from JR got the "unavailable" manager on the phone. He told me the warranty is for 90 days. I complained that the instructions do not help me and he said he would "talk to my tech guy". I told him that I would never buy another product because he prefers to make me throw away a 6 month old gadget worth $100 instead of offering me a cut on the price to fix it. Come on! A $100 gadget that the company wants me to pay $60 plus shipping to fix? Do they think I'm crazy? He told me "I didn't write the conditions of the warranty", but he does a lousy job of representing the company he works for. The material they sent me was wrong and they certainly don;t care about me as a customer so I will no be buying anything from Ematic/xo vision or whatever their company is called. They could have made their money back as I recommend and buy a lot of gadgets for other people, but now they lost a lot more than a miserable $60. That is why other companies do well and this one is just a scam that will probably have a name change and keep scamming people until they end up in jail. If you want a tablet that will have no more than 90 days warranty and will most likely stop working as mine did, buy this, but if you respect your money and want something with backing and a full year warranty (not trickery) go with Coby or other brand that will not trick people with the fine print. Be careful though, never take my word or anyone's else word over reading yourself the fine print, even Coby's..
