This is my first light tent, It looks well made and is easy to open and to store...ok.. I had to see the website from photoflex in order to figured out how to close it....the liteIgloo and this one are very similar, so is the same process. Big enough for now. My only complain... they need to remove or update the picture here in Amazon, the other customer was right, it came just the Light tent, no backdrops at all.

This is a good product. Large enough for most items you would want to photograph and sell online. Be prepared to spend a little time ironing or steaming out the creases before the backdrops can be used effectively. The manufacturer says to do this in their manual. They should really just roll them up and ship instead of fold to save you the trouble of ironing, which takes time and experimentation to get the right heat to be effective without melting them. Very nice product overall- easy to store easy to setup. Recommended!

This is a basic light tent. There are no instructions, but it is fairly easy to pop it open. Folding it completely back is another story. I just keep it folded flat, so I can move it to storage. Description still says 4, but there are only 2 backdrops - one white and one black. The drops are folded and the creases are sharp and appear in pictures, even if you used wide apertures to blur the background. I am not sure how the other reviewers ironed this (comments on this would be much appreciated) - I tried quite a bit, but they won't go because you can only apply so much heat before running the risk of burning a hole through them.
The material of the tent seems to be decent, but the product is definitely over-priced.

I will start off saying I am not a professional photographer in the least. I bought the cube mainly to shoot product shots for the web. I had heard from several people that I should look into getting one of these. So I did and it works great, but to be honest I had no idea how to make it into a cube once I pulled it out of the carrying case. I kept looking at the picture from the website thinking, did they leave a piece out. No instructions came with my box so I just did a lot of twisting and turning and it popped into proper form. I can honestly say that you don't have to be gentle with the wire. Luckily, I don't have to make it fit back into the carrying case.

The price was also very reasonable in comparison to other similar products.

This light tent is an excellent product for what it is. It contains many features to aid in photographing items well and includes white, grey, black, and blue backdrops. It pops open easily and someday I may even figure out how to get it back in its carrying pouch. I light it with 6500K daylight-balanced flourescent 100-watt tungsten-bulb replacements in standard weighted inexpensive desk lamps - as many as I need up to six. You don't need to buy expensive photo lights which are not likely to work as well as what I use.

Bought this item from cowboy studio and receive the product without any instructions or the 4 backdrops mentioned in the item detail. Further more the light tent received in the mail is completely different than the product described on the product page.

I made the purchase from ShopGoPro through Amazon fulfillment and realized that the light tent offered by Cowboy Studio is either a counterfeit or the seller is too lazy to list their item correctly. I return the first light tent.

Over all I am very satisfied with the light tent and the service provided by ShopGoPro.

I purchased this light tent because it was affordable enough for an item that would be used occasionally. I've been upgrading my photography equipment and selling my old items online. In my opinion, a light tent is a must for proper presentation on the web. The light tent is easy to open and close if you are used to opening and closing reflectors or portable backdrops. My XPRO Studio came with two backdrops (black & white) that did require ironing. This was a good product for a good price. If you are in the market for a light tent, this is a great value in comparison to other overpriced light tents presently on the market.

It is very easy to open but very hard to close up. I tried and failed at least 20 times to close this sucker up. I watched videos online to hopefully find a key to close it up. I had someone else give it a try and he tried to close it up like 5 times before he got it to close. He then showed me how to do it and I have been able to close it myself since then. This cube is very large and the backgrounds are very nice. I have not gotten all of the wrinkles out of the background yet. I am only an amatuer photographer so the wrinkles are not a problem for me yet.

This light tent supplements a lighting stand kit which I bought at the same time.

The whole tent folds down into a small 10" round bag and can fit into the carrying bag for the light stands.

It's workable, but there are a couple notable detractions . . .

1) the tent, being collapsible, suffers from many wrinkles. While it comes with some interior screens, they two are fold up and can suffer from wrinkles unless ironed right before a shoot. One of the screens,the blue one arrived with numerous white spots on it, like somewhat had dripped bleach across it.

This product was excellent! I've had it for years and it still functions perfectly. I used existing studio lights, lamps, the sun, etc and all worked well! Great for product shots.
