I got this item for my daughter but may have to keep it for myself. It works fine with light P&S cameras or small video cameras like GoPro Hero or Flip Video. The construction is robust enough that it doesn't sag or leave one concerned about breaking with an expensive camera attached to it. Highly recommend this item....

got this for snowboarding, but the head/top part that you connect the camera to, no matter how tight you get the set/locking screw there is a about 1/2 inch play in the different settings. the pole is a good idea, but the top part that you attach the camera to, looks like it could be made better...maybe a "xshot3.0" haha

This product is really awesome at taking self portraits. It does need a steady hand and minimal wind. The only problem with this product is an external problem. I had the worst time trying to get through airport security with it. They thought is was an asp, a defense weapon. They were like, "wtf is a monopod"??????

Works as advertise for point and shoot cameras. Takes a litte practice to get the aim right. We used it to take pictures of the four of us at the Statue of Liberty. We should have been taking pictures of the expressions on peoples faces (amusement, smiling, etc.) as they watched us use it. No one asked about it though.

I bought this right before my wife & I went on a 7 day trip to New york, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and DC. Everywhere we went, people thought this was the most amazing thing! If I would of had a 100 of them, I could of paid for our trip alone!!! Great invention. I just hope it holds up to our extensive pic taking!

What a great idea I thought. Put yourself into all of those holiday shots, simply by using the camera extender and a two-second time delay and then create a reverse angle shot. This lightweight device does not take up much room and has a good solid feel. A great accessory to give variety to your photos. Recommended.

You need a tripod mount to get your gopro on this, but once you do it is awesome. Several people asked about my pole, since it's telescoping it's kind of cooler than the gopro pole, also you can spin it around and angle it different ways. I used this scuba diving, would stick the gopro in eel holes for close ups.

What a great idea. Reminds me of a county song called "How do I fit in the picture" This is how do I get in the picture. This is the second one I have ordered as this was a wedding gift. They will now have pictures with both the bride and groom on their trip.

Great service and fast shipping.

Quality is good. Is lightweight and easily adjustable. Only complaint is that it has a little too much free play once locked into a particular angle. The attached camera can easily be used in portrait or landscape position by simply adjusting your arm position. Recommended for gadget lovers.
