I received a size too large for my purpose because Amazon's description and the seller's conflict. Amazon described an extra tall gate but for a 32" wide opening. Happy Dog sells a much wider gate, and it cannot be changed-they are not extensions, and the item is not returnable. Since I really need the correct size, and for it to be tall, now I have to shell out more $ for another one from somewhere else. I have asked Amazon and Happy Dog to correct this confusing discrepancy. The one star is not a representation of how I feel about the product itself-I really haven't been able to try it out. It does look sturdy-oh, there were no english instructions.

We house set and the owners have this product. Gate's are always in the way but keeping the rat dog limited to the front room and kitchen was nice. open with one finger raise is great. no nails needed just adjust to space inserted. For kids and medium to small animals (dogs) this product is great. I'm looking now to buy one for our place. Price might by a little high for me, hince the 4 star, but the product is really good and others i've seen don't compare.
