We've come to truly hate this machine. It's a POS.
It's quiet, sure (unless it's draining), but it doesn't get dishes clean.
It's able to suck in all sorts of things like stems, cherry pits, bones, etc. that it can't actually pass through the system. The filters don't catch them, and there's no grinder to chop them up, so if your kid, or your guest puts an unrinsed dish in the dishwasher, you'll be pulling it apart (or calling in a service call) to fix the problem.
We bought it because it's energy efficient (we live off grid), and quiet (we have a great room), but we really bought it TO CLEAN DISHES, which it ISN'T DOING.

This is a terrible dishwasher. I do not recommend. I wanted a quiet washer and expected that if I paid the high price for this I would be getting a dishwasher that cleaned the dishes. It does not clean the dishes well, it does not dry them, the inside is poorly designed - food stuff gets stuck under the door where it cannot be cleaned. It does not stay shut and the computer has errors shutting the washer down. European companies DWs are less deep and so less firs inside. And as I said, it is expensive.
On the plus side - it looks nice on the outside and tt has a stainless interior
