I thought this inverter was decently priced for a 1000 watts. I have seen slightly better deals out there since. The inverter works well. It does what its supposed to, and is fairly easy to hook up. The only problem I have with it is, I have a small coffee maker I wanted to use that is rated at 600 watts, and This inverter just does-not have the power to turn it on. It blinks on and off because of the initial start up (surge). It is supposed to cover the surge...but it doesn't. So forget about a small heater as well. Other than that, it runs all small appliances and electronics pretty good.

I bought this to run a old style TV and digital converter tuner, or refrigerator in my motorhome when neither plugged in nor running the generator. It does the job well, the fan is quiet too. I'd recommend it when sized correctly, and don't skimp on the 12 volt cables, I used #1 welding cable for a somewhat longer than recommended run.
