good for low power applications,

This review is from: Xantrex Technologies 852-0081 XPower Pocket Powerpack 100-Watt Inverter (Lawn & Patio)
I use one of these as portable power for a small music mixer that supplies phantom power . It works fine.It does take a while to charge; but I only use it once a month. It also works great if your power goes off a few days and you just want to keep you iphone going or listen to a radio. It does not provide a lot of power ; but it works good for some applications. I don't think I paid more then $50 for mine. I see they went up again. I don't know if it is worth $100; but not a bad item to have in a power outage. It will not power my coffee grinder....

This review is from: Xantrex Technologies 852-0081 XPower Pocket Powerpack 100-Watt Inverter (Lawn & Patio)
Battery was DOA. I hadn't used it for the first 30 days (I only used the actual inverter, I had charged the battery and it had appeared to work). Wrote to Xantrex, no response. I'll have to buy another one from some other more reputable company.
