On July 27th I ordered a refurbished XBox 360. It arrived very quickly but was dead by August 31st. I immediately contacted the seller (JD warehouse). They were very apologetic and worked quickly to repair the unit and send it back to me on September 9th. After close to three months of problem-free use my refurbished XBox 360 console experienced the same error again on November 29th. Again, I immediately contacted the seller (JD warehouse). Following is their response:

At this time you will need to contact microsoft or a local repair place. The console which you purchased from us had a 30 day warranty and anything past that point is referred to the manufacturer.

So to recap: I bought their unit and a month later it broke. I boxed it up and shipped it back to them. A short time later, it came back to me but was dead again in about three months. But according to them, that's the deal. [Although I looked through all of the paperwork (which I kept) and the Amazon website, I didn't see anything about a thirty day warranty.] All in all, I spent 100 bucks for about four months use. Like I said, never again...

Do not buy anything from this repair guy, they send you crap, and then when you return it they completely ignore all your phone calls and do not call you back to try to resolve the matter??? NOT a respectable company when they just ignore there customers!!!

according to the one star ratings which you are getting the most of CONGRATS on that cause it should be O stars. at least the other players seemed to have a DVD rom in there units, I couldn't even play mine, it was just a shell??? for $40.00 really??? scammers
and why is Amazon helping you sell your crap?????

My old xbox 360 got the RRoD so i was looking for a replacement unit without all of the cables and controllers. I was a little skeptical about purchasing a "Remanufactured" unit, but it was such a great price, i couldn't resist. I've been using the unit for about a month and a half and i havn't had one complaint yet. The box runs quietly and i have yet to receive an error of any kind. I use it mostly as a media center, but the whole family plays games on it pretty regularly. If you need a replacement xbox 360, for whatever reason, this is a good deal that you can feel safe purchasing.

This product was terrible it broke the second day after i bought it cuz it got 3 red rings on the power button and now i found out it doesnt work anymore.

Recieved my package with great joy only to find it was broken. I'm guessing that this is so because it came with only minimal packing(2 thin strips of foam at each end), the box was dented, and it only had one miniscule fragile stamp on the box. I e-mailed their customer support(hard to find by the way),and have yet to hear back from them.
C'mon sup! Don't you want to have a good customer rating? Very dissappointed!

I bought this item thinking that it would last at least a year or two.
After a month and a half, I got the E74 error.

I received this product and it worked for 2 months and i now have the RROD! DO NOT BUY! This is a piece of crap and not worth your money!

I bought this to replace my xbox 360 which had the 1 red ring of death. It worked for the first couple weeks but now this 360 is giving the same red ring. Only buy this if you want to get ripped off.

I ordered a console and it was shipped in a timely manner for the price. The sad part was when I plugged it in I got the RRoD within minutes of playing Fallout 3. So I emailed them and told them the deal. They had me send it back and they sent me a replacement. The new console works great and they even threw in Forza 2 and Ultimate Alliance. (Granted I own those games already but it was the thought that counts) I would recommend them to other people. They have good communication and after a little hiccup they gave me what I was looking for.

I waited the full 30 days to write a review. No problem with my new xbox360 so far. It arrived sooner than expected in a carefully cushioned package so as not to damage the unit. It was clean and works as expected. The sender attached a letter detailing the 30 day return policy and also some tips on how to store the unit so that overheating would not be a problem. I have no complaints and would buy again for this seller.
