this works, looks very nice, has a pretty blue light but is a bit loud, not so loud that it interferes with the games but you know when it is running.

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas to go with his x-box. He was so happy to get it and thought the compartments for the extra games were "cool".

It's practical, runs quietly, not bulky and doesn't need an electrical outlet... so far so good.

This fan is AWESOME!!!!! I had this fan for about a month now and I am loving it so far. A few people said it was a bit loud, but I think it's as quiet as dropping a metal BB on the ground after loading an airsoft gun. I bought this fan because I got the red ring of death a few days earlier I fixed it by putting fans around the bottom and back of it so I did that for a few days, but it got to crowded for my stuff i had to put next to it, so i bought this. It has a green light on it so you can see better while your in the zone playing COD or Halo. To sum this review up... BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!Xbox 360 Cooling Stand

its ok but i didnt really need it as much as i thought i did your better off just cleaning your xbox with dust off or with a air pump ... mine was over heating from dust yours is to prob .... and you dont need to stand your xbox up it will scratch your games so the game holding part is useless ..

This is a fairly good Item

It lets you pass in a fair amount of air into the Xbox's inside.

The air is going to go directly into the Xbox's CPU cooler. Unfortunately it won't help with the GPU as much as other mods (that one is right below the DVD drive). BUT unless you open the Xbox and do one of the "extra fan mods" or upgrade the existing Xbox fan's, you won't be able to do much with the GPU.

Either way it is a great cheap cooler.

Some say that it will "heat up your Xbox by drawing more electricity". Since the Xbox's power supply is OUTSIDE the Xbox (that little power brick that you have on the floor is the power supply), I don't see how a USB's 5 volts are really going to do anything concerning heat.


If your thinking about buying one of the coolers that snap in the back directly where the Xbox fans go--

The Xbox fans are already there, why put more fans on top? I don't see why people insist on stacking the fans that way, if the air needs to be pushed out faster, the stock Xbox fans will just go faster, you don't really need to put MORE fans there, put them in another place where they could actually do some good (example, inside the case or outside where they push more air IN).


Things to think about:

If you have the Xbox standing up, PLEASE make sure you don't tilt it, or move it at all while playing or using a DVD, this will cause the game/DVD to get scratched. I've had my Xbox standing up, with this product, and I have not had any problems. But working at Gamestop I have seen my fair share of DVD games destroyed.

Other suggestion:

Install your games to your hard drive, this will help in the DVD player having to work less, your Xbox needing less electricity, creating less heat, faster loads and no chance of scratching your disks. Overall, you should always install your games to your hard drive.

This does the job well for cooling. After gaming i leave it on and the 360 cools down much faster. I don't notice the noise level when gaming but after when the 360 is off these fans are a bit loud, but bearable. Any dc adapter will actually plug in to this cooler so you can use an external power source. The dc adapter should be 5v as thats the minimum for these fans. These do blow quite a bit of cool air. I dont use the stand to hold games, i feel it blocks air flow from the 360's vents. Overall this is a great buy, its cheap and a neccessity for 360's. No overheating with this, my 360 use to have RROD. But i fixed it and got this, now everything is cool. Also there is a green light that glows at the front and it looks cool.

I notice a difference in cooling. It does the job. I have two fans and I notice that my exhaust fan blows out mostly cool air. I would high recommend getting this if you do not want to spend 200-300$ for a new console. It'll prolong the life of your XBOX 360! I used to play with only one fan and it'll freeze on me occasional after couple of hours. Now I can play like countless amount of hours without having it freeze on me in the middle of the game. The one bad thing is you have to turn it on and off. Also the green light is kind of annoying if you have it in your bed room. If this was designed just a bit better I would've gave it 5 stars.

This is a very effective cooling stand for the 360, doing a great job of keeping the unit cool, even if it's in a less-than-extremely-ventilated area (I have it on a shelf next to the TV).

Note that you can run this off ANY USB hub that has power running through it; i.e. it does not have to be plugged into the 360 console itself. I personally run it through an MP3 player charger (specifically the USB/AC for MP3 Players - White), which keeps the console even cooler because the fan is not drawing any power from it.

There is an on-off switch on the back that will operate the fan. Off, it doesn't run at all. On, it will run constantly at a low speed and rev up to higher speeds as the console gets hot. It is somewhat louder than the other fan I have experience with (the Xbox 360 Nyko Intercooler EX Version) but is MUCH more effective. Also, the noise isn't really noticeable if you play at a normal volume.

The only (albeit minor) complaint I have is that the bright LED in front is always on if the unit is getting power, even if it is turned off. Other than that, I love this thing.

this gadet it woudlnt even fit and it barley cooled. it is loud and at night my parents get woke up.this product sucks never get it.
