I have had 2 plug in play charger batteries die. The controllers would still work, as long as they were plugged into the xbox. I have 3 plug n play charge cables, and 2 xboxs. The problem exists on em all, so I know the problem was in the batteries. After one charge on this my batteries will hold a full charge again!!! Just got this yesterday, if it turns out I made this review early I will edit this post. But as of 24 hours after receiving this I couldn't be happier. Plus I like star trek and this thing looks like it could go warp 11. HAHA (yeah I know, physically impossible. Way to ruin a great joke!!!)


PS I saw a review saying the headset charger wasn't there. Well you may have accidentally thrown it away!!! It is a small piece that is optional, one end plugs into power cord and other end plugs into the base where the power cord would normally go. It is totally there, and good thing cause I bought a used wireless headset for $5 cause dude lost the charger. And it works just fine now. Its the whole reason I bought this.

I was a bit skeptical when buying this product. I've bought a lot of aftermarket products for my 360 before and the stuff usually works, but never 100%. This one works like a charm. You connect the remotes and when they aren't fully charged the red light comes on almost instantly. After some time (usually hour or two) the green lights will turn on to show the batteries are fully charged. I believe also it doesn't overcharge the battery, thus increasing the battery life. I've tried charging both original Microsoft batteries as well as some aftermarket battery packs (NyKo aftermarket battery packs to be specific) and this Energizer charger works well for BOTH. Plus this charger helps your remotes look a lot cooler when they are not in use rather than just having them thrown in a corner somewhere. Definitely worth the money, and I'm even considering buying a second one soon.

I've used every charger out there that you can think of, including the regular play and charge kit for the batteries only. This is the best charging stand ever and also includes a spot to charge your wireless headset, so that frees up a plug on the surge protector.

for me this is a MUST HAVE! wow! this works with Energizer Rechargable batteries too!! it's very useful and looks amazing at night!!! wow! the best purchase! LOVE IT!

I use this charger for my xbox 360 controllers and charges them fast.they are red when charging and green when finished.Looks good for gaming equipment

This is the best way to charge your controllers. Cool green and red lighting and a startrek look to it. A good product that also will charge your wireless mic too.

This is perfect for my gaming station. Everything is organized and ready to be used. The lights are easily seen and the controllers plug in so easy.

I was a big fan of play and charge, but it did have its drawbacks like a long charge time and not being able to charge when the xbox was off. I decided to get this charger to use with my two wireless controllers and my Halo Reach wireless headset.

After about two months of use I can say that this is the best charger I have used for Xbox 360 controllers. It is super easy to use; all you do is dock your controllers after using them! I also use the headset charger a lot, but I wish it was on the front of the dock or in a more convenient location.

The lights on the charger are very cool as well. They are red when your battery is charging and change to green when it is fully charged. They are fairly bright, so it may be a problem for bedroom setups if light bothers you at night.

I highly recommend this charger, and it is definitely the best one you can buy on the market!

Great Product! Even though it states that you should only use microsoft rechargeable batteries, I have found that it works with engergizer and Nyco as well. And the wireless headset recharger is a plus!
