The first thing I thought when I opened the envelope these came in was "You have GOT to be kidding me...I paid for *this*?!"

That being said, I received exactly what was described. The pictures may be a bit misleading, though. What you get is two small pieces of texturized rubber that have a peel-off, sticky backing. They fit where they are supposed to fit on the controller; but, like others have said, the glue fails in a very short time. Considering I paid over $10 for some tiny sticky pieces of rubber, I can say that I am very disappointed in this product.

PROS:
- While it stays on, it does help you grip the controller better

CONS:
- Overpriced, for what you get
- Glue doesn't stick for very long
- Glue DOES stay on the CONTROLLER and isn't easy to clean-off if you should decide to stop using the grips...

This is a good product for a secondary controller or if you do not have a chatpad. I tried to connect my chatpad onto the controller after placing the grips EXACTLY where they are on the pictured instructions and they were about 1/4 of an inch in the way and I could not connect it. Eventually I took the grips off and spent about 30-45 minutes cleaning the sticky residue off the controller that the grips left behind.

If you have one controller and a chatpad THIS IS NOT for you.

Besides the interference it was a decent product, not to say I would ever purchase one again though.

Initial I loved the grips. After playing MW2 for hours... they start to come unglued. Now Im stuck with them. Hard to remove the glue. Would not recommend.

The grips are awesome. They are very comfortable and worth the price. Although they lose theyre stickyess in a couple weeks. I got some super glue and glued them and havent had a problem with them. I couldnt imagine not having grips on my controller now after having them. I highly recomend.

The grips are actually quite nice the material feels good to the touch. My only complaint is the glue used to hold the grips in place is not good and they are already coming off the controller... Bummer

This controller grip is the best EVER. it is not hard silicone as i thought but rather a nice comfortable rubber. If you play games ALOT you will love this because your hands dont get AS sweaty as they usually do and you have excellent comfort, not to mention that you have great grip of your controller because the rubber is sort of like a bicycle handle except soft and comfortable. The only bad thing about it is that the edges do have a little bit of glue on them, and u can see it (its white) but thats it. I put this on my new red wireless controller and it looks and feels great. Overall 9/10 due to that glue but if your an avid gamer GET THIS!!!!!!!

These grips are great, but the adhesive eventually gives out. You could try to custom cut some 3M adhesive to replace it, but the material itself may not be condusive to adhesives. Otherwise, very grippy!

I read a few about grips not lasting long, but I bought a set of these for my Xbox 360 and they lasted me almost 2 years. I took them on a deployment on Afghanistan and my controller ended up getting broke some how, slowly peeled them off and put them on another controller (which only lasted about 3 months afterward). I am about to order another pair and cannot wait till my control is as comfortable as it once was.

My quest started about a year and a half ago for something that helped with long periods of COD4 gaming sessions. I wanted something that made my controller comfortable and maybe help with moisture. I was fond of the standard controller so the off-brand gimmicks/designs did not appeal to me. After a good long search I happen stumble upon Rocket Grips and I have been a big fan since. They are placed only where they need to be, unlike full gloves which may cover buttons or shift while you use them. They do well with keeping your hands dry and the material does not in any way irritant my hands. They are about a millimeter or two thick which works extremely well with me; I always thought the 360 controller was a tad bit too small anyway. I have them on all four of my controllers and have only had to swap a pair a once. There was some residue on the old controller but that one took a dump anyway so it didn't matter. I started to use them to help endure the intense game play of online shooters but now find them to be a comfortable product no matter what I'm playing.

I can't imagine gaming without these!!! I have ordered two sets and will be getting more.
