The mic that came with my 360 bit the dust and I opted for this as a replacement rather than one of the more expensive alternativeness. It works great; it sounds great; and if you treat these right, they last several years.

Got the old white and grey one not in original packaging. Not going to make a big fuss over it because i paid less than half the price I would have paid at a store and it is new.

Basic headset that does what it needs to do for the right price.
