No more tripping over wires, no more connecting, I just leave my XBOX in my glass cabinet and turn it on and I'm ready to play. These controllers are fantastic. My buddy and I grew attached to them from the start. It took a few minutes getting to the new feel of them, they are similar to the "S controller" by Microsoft,as the buttons seem to be slightly closer together, but you won't care as freedom and ability of going wireless is amazing. I didn't have any distance problems either, my sofa is at least 15 feet from the XBOX itself and there were no connection problems. I can't say how long play time is, but Logitech says at least 50+ hours with AA batteries, and I've heard from some others it's up to 75 hours. (make sure you use good batteries like Duracell or Enegizer for less bettery changes) But all I can say, is that I'll never go back to cluttered cords again. Turn on your XBOX, and play!
It's been a few months since I've wrote this review and I still have not had any issues with the controller stick getting lose or buttons not working, it seems to be heavy duty enough for the hardest core gamers, I'm lovin' it!

This is a great constructed controller made of very good matierals nothing feels cheap about it i have been using logitech wireless mouse and keyboard on my computer for quite sometime and they have also been great. Its wireless capabilities are great nothing will block its way,its also perfect in its wireless capabilities, I remember not to long ago someone walking in front of you could block the tranmission from your controller to system, not anymore with its 2.4ghz frequency you could play outside your house through your walls,i did it well i didnt really play I just went out to see if it would work(this test required 2 people) peeping through the window would just give the controller easy acsess, this much testing sounds stupid huh, well i want to know how good it is, dont you? Oh yeh it feels pretty good in the hands. Also there are no generic feeling buttons which are easy to identify by there loosenes, rattling and unresponsiveness, i found this with a couple other wireless controllers.Best wireless controller for the xbox search no more ive done it for you.

If you want a wireless Xbox control, buy this. There's no other on the market better. It feels very similiar to the Controller S or larger controllers.
Pros: Nice Feel Great Wireless Play Layout Same As Liscensed Controllers Vibration Button Sleek Design Cons: Control Sticks Loose (making for a bad FPS experience) Receptor has short cord making it hard for XBL Headsets Buttons Require Hard Pressing The controller will aggrivate fans of FPS's. I can't use it ever on Halo 2.

An Amazing Wireless Controller,

This controller is an amazing third party controller. Usually I balk at buying third party controllers because their sensitivity doesn't seem to be as good as first party (those made by the system manufacturer).
The receiver for the controller is very large, primarily because it has slots to accomodate memory cards. It is roughly the size of a computer mouse, much larger than other wireless receivers. Fortunately, it is able pick up the signal from quite a distance (10 ft), which was the reason I purchased it. The controller itself feels like the standard S-controller, just a bit lighter. You can turn vibration on or off, and turning it off gives you an impressive hundreds of hours of gameplay. I really like this controller, and find it to be a good substitute for its wired counterpart!

I really loved this controller until it started giving me trouble. It's comfortable, easy to use, and wireless. Unfortunately, after a while the buttons and triggers begin to stick, and it's usefulness ends. I tried a number of things to fix the problem, even going so far as to sand down the casing a bit, but it never stayed fixed for long.
I got probably about 6 months of good use out of it, so it's not too bad, but I have yet to have any problems with a normal XBox (small) controller, even though mine's seen more use. It's really too bad that these small flaws showed up, or I'd still be using it.

For the first few months I had this controller, I thought it was great. Great range, battery life, and general feel. Though as others have said, the one bad part is that you have to hit the buttons a little harder than should be necessary. Another bad part about this, constantly hitting the A button that hard has started wearing out the plastic part between the button and the circuit board, eventually causing the button to stick. I've opened it up and fixed it once, but there's no telling how long it will be before the hole gets bigger and is unrepairable. I'm just hoping that Logitec will send me one or two of these pieces in the mail.

When I recieved this controller for Easter i was instantly excited and I set it up immidiately. For about a week I played my friends in Halo 2 and sat on the couch while they were forced to sit on the floor. However after being slightly frustrated and let my controller hit the ground from about 4 inches up. The controller hit the ground and than immidiatly my screen went wild. I changed the batteries but still my controller kept jerking to the left making my screen go out of control. Over time ive been able to reduce the jerking to a minimum but it is still there and quite frustrating to watch.

The problems mentioned about button response are absolutely true. It isn't the time taken to respond due to transmission issues. It's a problem registering a response in the first place through the buttons.
The button can be easily pressed down with no reaction. It needs that slight extra shove to get it to register. The sticks feel very smooth indeed and in my opinion feel a little nicer that the Xbox S controllers, but the trigger buttons...Dreadful. Heavy and overly sprung with a real spongy feel. I have the wireless Logitech controller for my PC and expected a similar high quality build (it really is fabulous) but on the xbox version the buttons just ruin what would otherwise have been a superb wireless option in a market that (for the xbox) is surprisingly lacking in quality. There seems to be no real reason for this, and you can see perfectly good wireless options for other systems. The wavebird for the gamecube for example is truly excellent and an identical clone of the stock Nintendo controller in a wireless. Xbox wireless controller brands could learn a lot from this. While these are the problems with the Logitech, I can also say that the units aren't TERRIBLE and I can imagine some of the cheaper ones could be an awful lot worse. Build quality on the Logitechs is high and the controller has a good weight, but the button problems can only annoy and cause fatigue over long gaming sessions. Can't imagine how this happened. Not at this price. A great shame.

If you use the "a, b, x or y" buttons this contorller stinks,
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars

I just purchased two of these controllers and unfortunately the games I play use the "a,b,x,y" buttons quite frequently. Unless you really press the buttons down hard, the functionality of the button won't work. When you push the button with normal pressure, the green light goes on in the part you plug directly into the XBox, so it is not a wireless issue, but again, no functionality. Both controllers have same problem.
At Logitech Support website, I noticed in their forum section that there are quite a few people who have complained about this problem so I don't think I just received two bad controllers.

I bought one to make sure that they worked well. I liked it so much I bought three more, so that four people can all play at the same time. As far as precision, functionality and quality goes, I can't tell the difference between these and the wired controller that came with my X-Box.
