4.0 out of 5 stars Very innovative and nearly perfect
I play a lot of Halo at friends' houses, and I found it a pain to remember all the hardware when I go, and I would be concerned about dropping my console on the way there! This product takes care of both problems!

The Pros are:

- dense padding protects Xbox from moderate shock
- plenty of room for two controllers and normal wires, including a 12' Ethernet...

2.0 out of 5 stars Could Be Bigger !!!
Nice console case, but there isn't enough room to place the controllers. It's REALLY HARD to put them inside!. However the box is hard enough to protect your console, and it looks beautiful.

I play a lot of Halo at friends' houses, and I found it a pain to remember all the hardware when I go, and I would be concerned about dropping my console on the way there! This product takes care of both problems!

The Pros are:

- dense padding protects Xbox from moderate shock
- plenty of room for two controllers and normal wires, including a 12' Ethernet cord.
- Streamlined (not like that other Xbox backpack, that begs your friends to make fun of you, heheh).
- [Editorial Review is true to form, everything mentioned is correct]

the CONS are:

- Not enough room for Ethernet Hub (could use about two more square-inches of accessory space).
- There are vents to help with cooling. However, I would be hard-pressed to actually keep my Xbox in the G-Pak all the time. I'm sure it's good for 1-2 hours of gameplay; I would not expect ample cooling for a 3-4 hour Halo romp.
- Price could be a little lower. I would not have purchased it for $29.95 (got it as a gift). I would be willing to pay $24.95

Excellent Product!

4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent way to transport your xbox, December 1, 2004

This review is from: Xbox G-Pak Organizer (Video Game)
I recently moved from Vermont to North Dakota (about 2000 miles). Due to the distance, it would a far stretch to bring my desktop computer with me when I go back to VT to play computer LAN games with my friends. However, my friends and I all have Xboxes which that can be networked together. I needed a safe way of transporting my Xbox across the country. I also wanted a case that would carry just about everything I needed to bring with me and be strong enough to protect my Xbox. This product has solved both of those problems for me. The case overall is very light with enough room to store two controllers, all the cables, at least 16 games, 2 memory cards. The case is also very durable and will survive traveling by airplane (as a carry-on item). Not much can survive bag handlers. The light weight is a plus when walking around large airports versus the larger heavier metal cases. In addition, you cold play the Xbox right from the case without taking it out. The bottom of the case can be opened to allow the necessary cords to be plug in to the back of the Xbox. There are also vents on the side of the case that allow air to circulate into the case. However, I would take it of the case if you are planning on playing it for more than 4 hours. The only cons to this case for me is that I wish it had some more room to store extra controllers (like 3 or 4) and possible a hub.

Otherwise this is an excellent product!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Naki G-Pak, July 5, 2005
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Xbox G-Pak Organizer (Video Game)
You'd have a hard time convincing any gamer that the Xbox is portable in any sense of the word. It's by far the largest current console and it's heavy as an anvil. However, if you do want to lug the big bastard around with you there is no better way to do it than with the Naki G-Pak. Most console cases are pretty miserable. They're either poorly designed or they are built like crap. The Naki, on the other hand, is incredibly well designed and built like a tank. This bag was a runaway hit for the company, and for a while you couldn't even find them anywhere, By this point they also have a PS2 version out with a GameCube model on the way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, April 3, 2005

I frequently travel to Vermont from Connecticut. Once i got my Xbox i needed a way to bring it back and forth. I saw aluminum cases that were over pirced and cheap nylon backpacks. I saw this last year in fye. I think it was $40.00 then but well worth the money. First of all, it holds 2 controllers, some cables, and memory cards in the top pocket. Sometimes i can even jam in another controller or the Xbox communicator. Inside, its even better. There are slots to hold 16 games and pockets for their manuals or instructions. The Xbox is strapped down inside the case so it doesnt move around. This case protects your Xbox very well. Not only is it good for its price but it is the best case available.

4.0 out of 5 stars Convenience Has Never Been So Sweet, December 31, 2004
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Xbox G-Pak Organizer (Video Game)
G-Pak Xbox Organizer and Travel Case is is not only convenient, but compact. It's big enough to hold about two controllers and all connector cables. Not only that, but you can compact close to twenty games in the sleeve compartment. It's great for travel, being big enough to check. If you're protective over your Xbox as I am, it also doubles as a carry-on, fitting snugly in all under-seat storage areas. Upon arrival at your destination, you can easily set up your system without ever removing your Xbox. The back/bottom of the case opens for the sole purpose of cable connectivity. The only drawback to this accessory is its underabundance of storage capacity for vital accessories. Four controllers simply refuse to squeeze in there, let alone all necessary cables. If your an anti-social gamer, great. But for all you socials, you better bring a plastic bag for additional accessories. Overall, it's a best-buy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Storage Case for your old Console, January 3, 2007

I grabbed one of these back around Thanksgiving when I was packing up my consoles to make room for guests. Just by looking at the picture you can tell that the case is somewhat stiff.

It turns out the thing is nearly solid all the way around. This is great for storage purposes but kind of makes travel a bit inconvenient.

If you've upgraded to an XBox 360 or other next-gen console and are looking to retire your old XBox this will provide a great resting place.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excelent organizer, August 10, 2006

This is an excelent product. I was changing to a new apartment a few days after it arrived and it was a blessing having it to transport my Console.

The specifications are exact. you can only fit 2 controls in there, there's no way in hell that you can get the 3rd one in and you may run into a little bit of trouble with the AV cables. in my case I have the advanced AV Pack and had to fool around with the case a for a little while to figure out how to get the damn thing in.

Overall I think this is a must if you plan to transport your XBox. Excelent!!

I travel a lot on my job. And there's always a tv for me to use. My wife got this for me so I don't get bored anymore in my room. The opening on the sides and back help keep my console cool. My fave is that I can carry all the things I need to watch movies and play games with a friend.

I have had this for years, and haven't taken my xbox out of it since I got it. There's no need to. It has enough room in the top pouch to easily fit two controllers, or one controller and all the tv hookups for the xbox. Game storage is nice and convenient also.
