I think this is a great system. Its got excellent game, a solid setup and has an awesome multiplayer experience. True it does cost 50$ yearly for the Gold account on live, however it's pretty well worth it considering all the updates and freebies you get. My only complaint is that the system is not that robust. Mine has gotten over heated for random reasons that have no explanation sometimes. There are many manufacturing defects that save the company money but cost the customers more. All in all its like I have to carry the thing around in a three foot thick styrofoam case just to protect it. Still every thing else is good. The controllers are made for human hands so they're very comfy to use and all the best multiplayer games are on this system (even though Nintendo has some very awesome ones for parties and stuff). Very good system. I recommend You buy it

xbox 360 are good consoles just dont buy one from good deal for you i had mine for about a month and a half just shy of the 30 day return policy when i got the red ring of death paid 250 for it and now its no better than a paper weight unless i send it in and pay more to have it fixed.

I got to say I was skeptical purchasing this XBOX 360 refurbished. I read quite a bit of negative things about refurbished units. The price was something I could not pass up. I asked the seller lots and lots of questions and he was very patient with me. Everything that was listed was included and the system looks brand new, not even a scratch. Santa was a HERO this year and its all thanks to you...but I'll take the credit!

I am on my 3rd 360. The first two died from RRoD. Microsoft was kind enough to replace the consoles for free. The third one I received from them died after 8 months and this time it was the DVD player. Of course with the third unit I would get the intermittent RRoD, but let the system cool down and life was sunshine and butterflies.

After the third unit died, out of warranty for DVD drive, I got fed up and fixed the dang thing myself, which in turn voided the warranty.

So borderlands comes out and a lot of my work mates are playing it online so I decide to buy the game and an XBox live subscription. Almost a week to the day of buying the memebership my console gets banned from XBL with no refund for the subscription or the games I already bought online.

This was the last straw for me. I packed up the console, put it in storage, sold all my games and bought a PS3.

I am a fairly technical person and know others like myself that can fix their own consoles. Of this group of people there is not one of us that still have their original 360, some of us are on their 3rd and 4th consoles.

These things are junk, google XBox 360 failure rate and PS3 failure rate and do your own comparisions.

Anyway, I've a PS3 now, play online games for free, have a Blueray player, built in WiFi and many other perks the 360 didn't have so life is good again.

My advice is stay away from these consoles unless your a hardcore gamer type that has to play the Halo Series and don't mind shipping your box off once every few months or so for replacement.

the game came damaged seller could never communicate with me. then complain to amazon so I could return the money after two months.
