The waterproof under jacket it comes with does well in the rain and with "cold" California weather (45-65° F).

Pro's:
This jacket is primarily made of a fine mesh where needed and solid 600 denier in all the key impact areas
Air flows freely all the way up the arms chest and out the back, which makes this jacket a great option during the summer
Plastic guards at the shoulder and elbow/forearms offer additional abrasion protection
Can be zipped all the way up and not irritate the neck/chin
Offers good adjustability and is comfortable when I wear my Icon Stryker Vest underneath
Waterproof liner has zipper and velcro closing in the front and although untested looks to to be effective
Has lots of pockets including a gun pocket

Con's:
The front zipper gets stuck half way just about every time
Back pad is NOT CE rated foam but rather a useless POS memory like foam (refer to pictures)
Thermal liner is extremely thin and does not extend throughout the arms, offers little warmth in my opinion
One zipper that is used to attach the waterproof liner to the jacket is completely backwards (refer to pictures)
Waterproof liner sleeves are difficult to attach to the inside of the jacket sleeves, its easier not to mess with it

Overall for $90 this jacket is a good deal. I would definitely take out the back pad and wear a spine protector underneath.

Jacket came as described, though I think in person the jacket looks way better than the stock photos. very durable and feels reliable. Looks very sharp with the straps and armor. The three layers is pretty awesome. Can have all 3 which makes it a bit cushy and also warmer. Or just the outer layer, or the way I've had it most of the time, no inner liner, just the vest and main jacket.

In the end, for under $100 you can't beat it, looks great, fits great, and overall nice jacket. Will buy from this brand again.

I wore it during a storm for my 1 1/2 hour long commute at 2 a.m. On freeway and it kept me pretty dry and warm. I don't know the effectiveness of the "armor" portions but I hope to never physically find out. Though with an armored vest underneath for torso/spine protection I feel adequately protected from the elements as well as the road.

I've had this jacket for months and it has still held up. One of the seams did come apart pretty quickly but besides that it has held up fine. I did get a size larger than I normally wear and recommend others do this as well, specially if you live in areas where it's cold since it's more likely you'll be wearing more layers of clothes. The waterproof under jacket it comes with does well in the rain and with "cold" California weather (45-65° F). It does let a good amount of air through the arms so it's not too bad in hot weather but you do not want to get caught riding in cold weather without some long sleeves since your arms will get really cold.
What I really like about this jacket is the large pocket it has. When I go though the drive-thru I can easily stick the food in that pocket and ride away. Nice jacket for the price and beginners.

+ 1 star for liking the jacket.
+ 1 star for speed of delivery!

- 3 stars for the sizing.

I normally wear an XL jacket, and in motorcycle jackets a XXL is a good fit, so I ordered this one in XXL. Everywhere fit perfect accept the binding under the arms. It felt like somebody pinched me, and it immediately hit the pressure point, binding so tight, that it was impossible to wear. I don't know if it was just this jacket, or they are all foreign sewed like that. I am not a small built Asian, but a broad shouldered American man. I wish they had a better sizing chart or took the time to calculate sizing. I am returning this for a XXXL and hope it will fit. I will then give a full and fair review when I receive that one. Beware of the sizing.

This jacket has got 3000 miles on it so far, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with it. Had a small button break that's holds the bottom of the liner down at the base of the jacket but other than that only other complaint would be that if your riding a naked or crotch rocket style bike sometimes I have trouble doing u turns cause my helmet rubs the shoulder armor. Another plus is I've ridden in 30 degree weather with nothing but a long sleeve shirt underneath and this jacket performed very well!

In my opinion, unless you have been in accident you can't truly say how great body armour or a helmet is. So I am grateful to say I don't have a personal opinion as to how this jacket protects. However, here is what I feel so far about the jacket: A) It fits snug but oddly enough I can wear a jacket underneath during the cold riding days. I don't know if this makes a difference as for protection but since the jacket is a little heavy I feel more protected and covered. B) I am a big and tall guy so the jacket barely comes to my waist. The one complaint I have is the rain/ wind liner and fleece liner don't come to my waist so it feels funny feeling them riding up to my stomach. Ultimately the price was less than half of what I know that others have paid so for quality armour I can't think of a better deal. Hopefully I will never get to test it's true strength.
