For the Xerox P8 and TI Win/4 printers, February 28, 2005
This review is from: Xerox 106R364 Toner Print Cartridge (Office Product)
I've had a Texas Instruments Win/4 laser printer for well over 10 years--it's mechanical parts are exactly the same as the Xerox P8 printer; it also uses the same drivers and probably similar software.
This has been a very dependable laser printer, the toner goes a long way, and I see no reason to buy a new laser printer until I can buy color lasers at B&W prices. I'm glad Amazon carries these hard-to-find toner cartridges.
Update: Unfortunately, ever since I upgraded to Windows XP (and bought a laptop with Vista,) the printers that use these cartridges have become obsolete. Mine was a little slow, but it still worked great after more than a decade, and it was still on the original OPC drum.
RIP TI Win/4, Xerox P8 and whatever Sanyo copier engine these printers were based on. It was a good ride for a $89 laser printer.
The good news is that my new Brother laser printer is blazingly fast, inexpensive and connects directly to my network. Life marches on!
