Excellent value for the price,

After seeing this printer advertised on QVC for about £85 inc P&P I didn't hesitate to order one.It took about 10 minutes to install with no problems. The print quality and speed of black text is superb, hard to distinguish between laser print outs. I was initially dissapointed with the colour prints. At 1200 x 1200 I expected perfection but found I had noticible lines across the page. After reading the help page I opened the Xerox print manager and ran the cartridge alignment test. Print quality was vastly improved and I am very happy with the results. It is a little slow when printing in high quality colour, but you can't rush art! 9 ppm and 1200 x 1200dpi for £85 - cheap at half the price.

A versatile printer that meets all my needs.,

I found the Xerox C11 printer meets all my printing needs. It is really fast when I am looking to print out mail notes or other black/white documents (grayscale, fast/save ink mode). When I am printing photos the colors are vibrant on the less expensive coated/matte paper. I choose not to use the much more expensive photo paper and I get excellent results on the coated/matte paper. My business documents get the attention they deserve and I always get positive comments on how the prints look. I found the C11 very easy to set up and was printing 15 minutes after removing it from the box. After using the C11 for several months I have found to be reliable and a piece of equipment I can count on.

A Great printer.......,

You will notice I am rating the printer and not the customer service from Xerox. This will be my second one, and I have tried other Xerox printers and have not been satisfied with them as I have the C-11 and I AM VERY SORRY TO LEARN THAT IT WILL NO LONGER BE PRODUCED BY XEROX. However, I must say that the customer service from Xerox for repairs is not that great though the technical team seems to be ok. I have been over a week asking how much it would cost to refurbish my first one. It has a problem of not feeding the paper, probably rollers need replacing. Still no response from them other than - is it in warranty. Thanks Amazon for a great job on shipping the C-ll that I just ordered.

Surely this printer is not that bad.....,

I have been looking for a colour printer for some time now and saw this one advertised on QVC (Shopping Channel). I admit I was hooked on the price (£85) and the output seemed pretty good for a product at this price. When it arrived it took me 15 minutes to be up and running and if I was rating it on this alone it would get 5 stars. The initial test print was fine but then.....I decided to print out a half page full colour picture which to my horror took approx 15 minutes to print. Not too long if it was picture perfect but the black was more like green and the picture lacked definition and clarity. to day I was disappointed was an understatement. To compare I took the same picture to a friends house and he printed it on his HP 720c in about 2.5 minutes and to near perfection. I went back and tried some other test prints to no avail. As I raised the quality (via software) the output worsened. Two e-mails to the Xerox helpdesk brought no further joy so it was returned to QVC who fortunately operate a 30 day money back guarantee. All in all a disappointing experience which cost me £12 in shipping charges. As I said a 1200x1200 dpi printer surely cannot be this bad. Perhaps it was a Friday printer !
