I haven't seen better! All i want to say is get it, get it get it. If you're looking for a multifunction get it. Its faster (10 ppm black, 5ppm color) than all of them (except the HP T65 11ppm black 8.5 ppm color). It does two sided printing @ 1200x1200 dpi, color copies, 200 page fax memory, 2.5 mbs of memory, Pagis Pro 2.0 with Mgi PhotoSuite and Textbridge Pro. Its got everything and does everthing, Color Printing, Color Copying, Color PC faxing, Color Scanning. Not to mention its a xerox. It works all day and all night with no hassles. Just get it and don't get anything else. You'll be unhappy if you spend more for less or spend less for less. You will be excited about all the things it does.

I highly recommend this device, as it does all of the functions quite well. Unlike many of its competitors' products, Xerox really excels in paper handling. For example, the FAX function will scan a thirty-page document into memory without jamming, then dial and send the FAX (similar to its more expensive dedicated FAX machines but at a fraction of the cost). On a purely aesthetic level, the machine is attractive and well-designed.

For a home/small office, this machine is a great value. Highly recommended. I have purchased three (one for my office, one for my home, one for a colleague).

I own this machine primarily because of its standalone faxing capabilities. For this purpose, it is an incredibly reliable machine. It is perfect in situations where no one is available to attend to the machine while it is receiving. The sheet feeder is virtually flawless, unlike many HP machines I have heard about and used. The printer functions appear to work reasonably well also. The one complaint I have is that the replacement ink cartridges are rather pricey.

I recommended this device to a friend - all hell broke loose. The drivers for this product won't be ready until "Fall 2000". The drivers that ship with the product won't work with Win2000 - it causes random crashes of the Print subsystem and on two occassions, caused crashes of the ENTIRE system. In short, if you buy this product NOW and you have Windows 2000, you'll have to wait until Fall if you want just to print reliably - forget scanning/faxing etc. Xerox tech support was NOT very helpful either - two of the three techs we spoke to started to INSIST that it can work with 2000 - even though their website has no drivers for it and there's an insert in the documentation that says it won't! They then told me that I can use the "NT 4" driver as a workaround - good try.. But that doesn't work either.

In closing, possibly a good deal if you DON'T use Windows 2000 or won't be using it before Fall of this year.
