The WorkCentre XK35c from Xerox is a flatbed multifunction device perfect for your small office or business. The XK35c is fast and reliable. It can print in black at 8 ppm and in color at 3 ppm in 1,200 x 1,200 dpi resolution. It produces copies at 3 ppm in black and 1.5 ppm in color at 600 x 600 dpi resolution. The XK35c features USB connectivity and a flatbed design that allows you to copy and scan documents, photos, and objects quickly and easily. With the XK35c you can print on envelopes, transparencies, labels, and more. The paper tray has a 100-sheet capacity. It also features enlargement and reduction capabilities of 25 to 400 percent.
The XK35C includes TextBridge Pro 3.0 OCR (optical character recognition) software to turn your scanned documents into electronic files that can be edited and reviewed effortlessly. It also features MGI PhotoSuite photo editing software and Pagis Pro for scanning photos and images. To get your WorkCentre up and running without delay, there are a USB cable and printer cartridges for both black and color printing included.

I was skeptical at first: how could a product deliver color printing, copying and scanning for such a cheap price? Since it was from Xerox, I decided to take a chance. The 35c has proved to be a fantastic and easy to use product. Print quality is great and color copies are also top-notch. Highly recommended

I do not own this machine, but I did demo it along with another, more expensive, HP multi-function device, and the Xerox WorkCentre XK35C won hands down. The only problems I found with the 35C were (1) Relative to the more expensive machines, the printing was somewhat slower, however the quality was far superior and (2) I contacted Xerox about the availability of Windows 2000 drivers and they told me that they would not not be releasing Win2k drivers for the 35c because of its age. So, if you have no plans to upgrade past Win 98 or Win NT 4.0, then this would be an excellent product for you. This would be an ideal product for a small business owner or college student. Overall the print quality is superior to that of other inkjet printers and other multi-purpose devices and the cost is less than many inkjet printers. If you have plans to upgrade to Windows 2000, I suggest waiting to buy the newer version of this device that Xerox said they should be releasing by the end of the summer.

I bought the XK35c based primarily on the Xerox name and I have not been disappointed. After I got everything set up and the software loaded I started having trouble with the printer. I called Xerox Customer Support Center. After some poking and prodding it was determined by the rep that I still had my old Canon Printer installed. We were able to take care of that and it has been perfect ever since. The printer is producing material that looks like it came from a Laser Printer. I would recommend the XK35c to anyone who needs an inexpensive Printer/copier for a small business or home use. I don`t think you will be able to fine anything that will beat it. Also Xerox customer support center is great they go the extra mile to help.
