A standard color scanner enables the scanning and storage of color documents as well as submission of color facsimiles. The WorkCentre PE220 includes ScanSoft’s OmniPage® SE 3.0 and PaperPort® SE 10.0. OmniPage quickly converts hard copy documents into spreadsheets, text, or HTML formats that can be edited and repurposed. PaperPort offers convenient visual document management by converting scanned documents to PDF format.

Two standard features not found in competitive products in this class are ID Copy and Auto Fit Copy. ID Copy automatically prints both sides of an ID card on the same side of a letter size page – ideal for medical or dental offices that need to document patient’s insurance information. Auto Fit Copy automatically reduces or enlarges an original to fill the printable area of a letter size page – this is particularly useful for automatic zoom reduction or enlargement copying of oddsized originals.

The WorkCentre has an excelent ADF. Although the price is a little bit high, it did worth!!!. Congratulations to Xerox.
