I selected this HSF because my case width, and i have to say IT ROCKS!! When temps raizes it keep my Q9300 3.0 ghz fresh, and the PWM fan does it proper work. My temps doesn't go beyond 62º C at 100% load(26~30º room).

Very easy installation, lightweight and firm. I recommend to install it with the Xigmatek ACK-I7361 Crossbow Bracket for 3 Heat Pipes Heatsinks Supports Both i7 and LGA775 , it ROCKS!!! Very easy, better than included system, and solid! If your motherboard tray has cpu back hole, it is more easy to install!

I was very concerned that this cpu cooler would be difficult to install. Even with the poor instructions I was able to figure it out. The installation went very smoothly on my AMD cpu. My computer is so quiet now I have to check the power light to tell it is on!

The whole premise of this CPU cooler (and other modern CPU coolers) is quite different than what I'm used to, however, the installation was rather simple and the performance has been excellent. I bought this CPU cooler because the stock cooler that came with my AMD Phenom II X4 965 CPU was what I would call loud. Possibly adding to the fan noise, the fan speed changes were dramatic and distracting. This cooler is much quieter and I no longer notice the cooler fan speed adjusting. This cooler is much larger than the stock cooler although not as heavy as you would expect, not so heavy as to give me concerns when attaching it to my CPU.
