Your grocery list, travel itinerary, the kids' soccer schedule, the dentist's new address for today's check-up -- put it all in the credit-card-size Rex 3 organizer. Plus, with the included docking station, synchronize your Rex with your PC through any serial port.
The Rex 3 communicates with your PC in two ways: First, with its built-in PC-card interface, you can slide the Rex into your laptop's PCMCIA Type II slot and "Click-and-Go", knowing your most important information is with you in your Rex-3 organizer. Second, the Rex 3 DS system includes a serial-port docking station. The docking station is for desktop PC or Windows NT users.
Now you can use your desktop or laptop to enter and manage organizer data, synchronize it with Rex 3 and then view it anytime, anywhere. The Rex 3 comes with Rex TrueSync Information manager, a full-featured organizer software, or you can import data from your current organizer.

I like the Rex more than the RexPro precisely because it doesn't allow data entry. Instead, I enter everything into Outlook (where it belongs) using a real keyboard on a real screen. Then, before a trip out of town or to the corner, i replicate Outlook to Rex and I have all my info in my pocket. Wonderful!

A memory card with an LCD display. Resumes, procedures, driving directions, articles, anything that you would want to keep handy or save for later reading can be put into the rex. Imagine carrying your favourite news articles from your favourite newspaper in your pocket in a small inconspicuous package. The price is even lower. I hope more people see the benefit of a REX over a Palmpilot. It'll be a shame if this product disappears from the market like most non-popular products do.

It's definately useful-- in fact, if you find it as handy as I have you'll have to stock up on those little batterieis which, unfortunately, it does go through a good number of. The display is super easy to read! And the company, though under new management is quite helpful-- my LCD screen got cracked and when I called in they let me pay half price for a new one and shipped it right out. And this price just can't be beat! Plus you get the docking station-- The computer interfacing is easy! If you want a portable computer buy a laptop-- if you want a great, handy, affordable PDA that you're not constantly worrying about buy the REX.
