One of the best Rave/Techno compilations of the early 90's, May 24, 2007

XL Recordings had a lot of great artists, the early 90's was the explosion of rave/techno and this compilation (and its series) is one of the best ever released. Filled with only the most kickin and full length versions of each of the tracks, it is truely a Hardcore, you know the Score release.

...gimme the Third Chapter. Don't get me wrong - this is a solid collection with a number of engaging head-bobbers, my favorite being "Where is the Evidence?". Also, "Charly" is a deservedly ubiquitous dance classic. But this is a letdown if you've ever heard the stunning, but hard-to-find, Third Chapter referenced by the other reviewers. I haven't heard any of the other chapters, so I don't know how the Third compares to chapters 1, 4, 5, etc.
