I've had allergies & asthma all my life. Using Xlear has greatly helped. It is not a cure, but has caused a VERY noticeable improvement. Also, I recommend this for kids that get lots of sinus and ear infections. Don't squirt it once and expect it to work. Use as directed and you will be rewarded with better health. Anyway ... just wanted to say that XLEAR works as advertised and it is safe. You sure can't say that about most products on the market today. And the price is awesome!

I discovered Xclear last year when we were hiking in Utah and I was getting yet another in a never-ending series of sinus infections. The doctor out there recommended it based on acectdotal information from his clients. I have not had any sinus infections since then. Anytime I start to feel that pressure in my face, I start using it and it's gone after 2 days. No more antibiotics !!

My daughter keeps getting ear infections that lead to fluid being stuck in her ears. She had to have the fluid removed surgically at one time.

She has been using the nasal wash twice a day for eight months. She still gets the infections, but they clear up and the fluid leaves within a month. We do not use antibiotics

I suffered several sinus and bronchial infections every year from allergy and asthma related problems. I also suffered major breathing difficulties and sinus headaches on a daily basis. Every nasal spray I tried did not help at all and caused side-effects such as itching, bleeding, and bad taste. As you can imagine, I felt like my life was not worth living. My doctor prescribed various medications which did not help; except for Advair, which helped to relieve bronchial problems. I've been using Xlear and Advair every day for almost 2 years now and have not had any sinus or bronchial problems since then... ZERO! Plus, I seldom have asthma attacks now, which I truly believe is because of Xlear and Advair (50/50). Bless you Xlear and Advair for making my life worth living!

My husband and I both got through our sinus infections without antibiotics using this product! It really helped us a lot.

My nose produces boogers with blood either due to the septoplasty i had twice or there maybe some small polyps in there somewhere. Anyway Xylitol is the best thing there is for keeping your nose hydrated and germ free for prolonged periods after application. I thought this spray would be perfect for intermediate uses between my morning and evening Nasal irrigation. Unfortunately the Grapeseed Extract is causing me problems. I had a bottle of Nutrobiotic GSE with me and i remember reading that GSE should not be directly applied on a cut or bruise. If you do it will sting and when this happens in your nose its not a pleasant feeling. I ended up sneezing and aggravating my irritation consequently clogging it and producing more booger with blood. GSE also dries out the membrane and this is exact opposite of what Xylitol is supposed to do. Therefore i created my own perfect solution.

You will need

1. One empty Xlear spray bottle and its equivalent water

2. One 5g packet of the best saline available - SinuAir (Sodium Chloride, Sodium Bicarbonate, Potassium Chloride, Calcium Chloride)
SinuAir Powdered Saline Convenient Packets

3. One to One-half Teaspoon of pure Xylitol crystals (Use warmer water to dissolve Xylitol)
Now Foods Xylitol, 2.5 pound bag

4. About one Teaspoon of Alkalol
Alkalol - A Natural Soothing Nasal Wash, Mucus Solvent and Cleaner Kit - with Cup, 16-Ounce

At this concentration this will create a momentary burning sensation and your nose may close up but after a few minutes you will feel it mosistured and trouble free. If you find this spray too strong, use two to three times the amount of water to reduce concentration. If you suffer from serious and continuous problems first make sure to irrigate your nose and sinus in the morning and evening with a Neti pot or a Pulsing Nasal irrigator to completely clean it and then use this spray once every few hours.

I started using Xlear Nasal Spray in March this year and I've been AMAZED by the results my family and I have had! First off my 2 year daughter has never been sick since she started using it. Since its all natural and great at preventing ear infection we use it daily with her as a preventative measure. With my husband and I, we use it as need and when we travel. Its great at moisturizing the sinuses before, during, and after a flight. Since we live in Salt Lake City, the low humidity tends to cause problems and make people more vulnerable to sinus infections. But since we started using Xlear, no problems. We'll NEVER use another nasal spray!

Background: I have suffered from continuous sinus infections my entire life. They have been particularly nasty sinus infections as well. I would have constant buildup inside my nose daily, and this became very uncomfortable throughout the day. I finally did discover nasal irrigation. While this was a great discovery, it did not prevent the daily discomfort and buildup from occuring. Several years past before I finally saw a specialist who gave me a round of antibiotics(bactroban and levaquin). These antibiotics cleared up the infection in three days, and my nose felt normal for the first time in years. However I discovered that I had to continue to use the antibiotics to keep my nose feeling normal. I tried saline gel and other products to take the place of these antibiotics, though nothing else would work. The sinus infection would always return. I came across this on amazon as well as Seagate Olive Leaf Extract. I tried the Olive Leaf Extract first, assuming that to be more effective due to the antiseptic properties. My sinus infection gradually began coming back while I was taking it. After taking it nearly a week I reluctantly switched over to using the Xlear, not expecting results.

I gradually started using just the Xlear nasal spray. MY sinus infection gradually began to subside, although very slowly. About 5 days after I began using the Xlear my nose felt completely healed and normal. If this continues to work and keep me off of antibiotics then it will be a great discovery. For now I will give it 5 stars. I will provide an update in several weeks.

UPDATE: By itself, I don't believe this product works as well as originally thought. I now use it after cleansing my nasal passages with alkalol. It appears to keep my nasal passages quite moist and comfortable for several hours after this.

We've been using Xclear nasal wash for several years on a daily basis and find it most effective. Helps fight infections that start in the nose and keeps us breathing clear with no bounce back or dependency. Great value.

I had a sinus infection a-brewin', I could feel the telltale ache coming on at about 5 p.m. every day. I got some Xlear nasal spray, and within three days, my symptoms stopped. I use it twice a day, sometimes three. It was originally recommended to me years ago by a naturopathic doctor, and it worked for me back then, too. Of course, if you already have a sinus infection, those can be dangerous, so seek medical attention, but Xlear is a great preventitive measure.
