3.0 out of 5 stars Not what i expected
This is his worst album that he has put out, but there are a few good songs on here. I can only listen to a few songs on the cd before i want to throw it out the window. Its worth the money but not his best. Get his other albums if you want great rap. laterz

I happen to own a few X-raided cds and it didnt take me long to discover this album is his dopest!!! As you might know X is serving a life time sentence in da dogghouse for pre-meditated murder and this cd is an expression of his emotions during this incarceration process!! He doesnt like it one bit and this makes the cd a dark depressed masterpiece!!! Check out the "I aint dead yet" track; X-raided's heartbreaking cry out to the world to never forget him!! if he keeps comming up with tracks like this he will never be forgotten cuz this is realer then real, ya betta rekonize!!
Also pay special attention to 'deuce-5-ta-life' where X tells his point of view about the media spectacle that surrounded his incarceration; ofcourse he doesnt plead guilty on this track cuz his case was still to be judged (apparently he learns by his mistakes: an early track by da X was used in his trial). X-raided maintains his innocence, it was nuttin but a coincedence!!
The fact that the lyrics were recorded over phone might worry you as a buyer but to hear x-raided comming in over da phone makes this cd even realer, the whole atmosphere of the album gives you the feeling it is YOU who s behind the cellbarrs!!
What need i say more??? This cd is a definite must have for every westcoast-siccmade-fan!!!!

this cd is sicc as hell, pure and simple. given the sound quality isnt the greatest, but besides that, this cd is sicc. the flows, beats, and lyrics are all off the hook. there are many sicc songs, my favorites being "check your ...", "deuce 5 to life", "Witta mask on" and then theres the song with brotha lynch "liquor, niggas and triggas" if you like hardcore rap and want some true, heartfelt lyrics, then pick this one up.

Very good stuff here, I will be buying more of his CDs. Most of all I like how X-raided is the real deal, no BS like the rapper of today!

X-raided has the best lyrical outing of any rapper ever on this cd. If you like rappers that actually have skill- then buy this. Anybody that says this isnt good because he raps from jail obviously doesnt think that it is important to have talent. The most important cd out of all of the sacramento rap besides season of the siccness. If you like underground stuff this is a must buy

4.0 out of 5 stars Dope album, May 14, 2007
This review is from: Xorcist (Audio CD)
Don't listen to Dannyboy's borderline retarded review. Why a square like that guy is even listening to the album I have no idea. You can pretty much play this cd str8 thru. Obviously this is be4 they improved studio technology, so the sound isn't clear (since he's rappin over the phone) like his recent cd's are, but with that said, it makes this album that much more real. You really can't go wrong w/ a x-raided cd, especially this one.

a dope album from another gardenblocc gangster. In his own words, "I wrote from the perspective of crack rock." Believe it. A shame we must lose another bomb MC to the prison system. Believe it.

5.0 out of 5 stars X-Raided is the siccest artist since music was created, February 2, 1999

If you don't have this CD then I feel for you. X-Raided has the tightest flows and beats. He dropped the lines to every song from Sacremento County jail yet never missed a beat. Buy now or you're gonna regret it.
